A very comical, odd voice quacked from behind the two sisters, away from the tea party. "Aw, phooey!" the voice screeched. "Wak!" It was difficult to ascertain why the voice was angrily shouting, but it was more obvious to Alice when various noises from the nearby Tulgey Wood were audible. The source of the agitated voice had obviously stepped on a few of the horn-structured creatures, and rattled and annoyed various other of the bizarre forest's inhabitants.

"Get lost!" the funny voice shouted at something. "Scram!" This was soon followed by the sound of running footsteps, and, finally, Donald Duck barged through the Mad Hatter's gate, and into the tea-party. "Doggone--" he mumbled, but he stopped himself when his wide eyes noticed the large, decorative tea-party. "Oh-oh!" he exclaimed, then smiled. He waved. "Hi! Mind if I stop here?" He couldn't see Alice from where he stood, but he could see the pretty brunette. He stepped closer to her and took off his hat in politeness. "Hi, ma'am!"

Alice's eyes returned to her sister when she was addressed. She shook her head before answering, "I'm afraid not, Edith. At least, not yet, but Arthur has been turned into an animal. I mean, my friend! He is also a student of Merlin's." She lowered herself to the floor so she could be closer to the physically altered Edith. She also rested the book on the floor, so the both of them could read together. "But we will find the precise spell!" She smiled to Edith, but the smile quickly faded when she thought of the worst case scenario. "At least, I do hope." Alice again turned to the book and quickly skimmed through a different page, hoping to find something useful.

How would you like to be the next 'it'? Meaning now we try to make you laugh?

Thanks! I once found a photoshopped version of that pic in which Gaston was edited to look like Frieza from DBZ, and he was holding a football. Unfortunately, my harddrive crashed, and I lost the pic. :(

There are plenty of other funny frames I would be willing to share though. :D

@Hannah: That sign is awesome! I'm sorry I didn't laugh, but it made me grin. I want that sign, just so it could be proudly displayed on my front door!

@Danny: Okay, Danny. So far you are the front runner; that picture of Gaston, and the accompanying text, very nearly made me laugh! My lips trembled and, if I were caught more off guard, I would have most likely lost. That picture is definitely funny, and I hope Kris sees it!

@Moony: Both of those images are perversely awesome. ... But I didn't laugh! Try again; don't give up!

I'm starting to think that I'm a real formidable antagonist...

Although Edith had not been turned back into a human, she could not help but feel relieved that she was no longer a pig. After all, foxes are much more pleasing to the eye than pigs. But all of the transformations that Edith had undergone left her pondering a certain question.

"I don't mean to pry," said Edith, "but have you ever been turned into an animal by Merlin or yourself?"

A rose by any other name || Belle (W.I.P)
« Result #14 Yesterday at 7:40am »

~ + Beauty and the BEAST + ~
[image]
~ + She really is a funny girl that BELLE + ~

Name: Belle or Beauty in the French
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Where are you from?: Auvergne Province, France

.::*Appearance *::.

“Now it’s no wonder that her name means Beauty, her looks have got no parallel”

Tall and graceful, Belle’s name definitely suits her wall. She has slim build and long locks of silky brown hair, which she prefers to keep, tied back in a plain ribbon, not too fussy and easy to maintain. Her eye are a dark chocolate colour and they shine with a gentle light, almost like she can see straight through to your soul. Her complexion is very fair and her lips are full and tinged with a faint pink blush. Her arms are long and slender like her legs and she has curves in all the right places.

Like all girls she has her favorite clothes, preferring her blue tunic dress and white blouse above all. She isn’t a rich girl, so she doesn’t have much to choose from but she feels comfortable in the clothes she has which is all that matters to her. She has a small trunk in her bedroom, which houses a few cloaks, a few different colored dresses and one extra pair of shoes for the winter but the blue is her favorite. Unlike some of the other girls in the village, her bedroom, instead of paying host to a vast collection of dresses and shoes is home instead to a large collection of books, drawings and strange little models her father made for her.

.::* Personality *::.

“What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle”

((I shall add when I return =D ))

+ Likes +

Reading: Belle is a bookworm. She loves pursuing stories which take her to different lands, no doubt connected to her own want for adventure. Love stories fascinate her, particularly ones about magic spells and princes in disguise. Horror stories scare her and prick at her curiosity. Adventure thrills her and Fantasy stories take her away into her own dreams. Yes if there’s a book about it, you can bet Belle has read it or is not, will read it at one point and true stories (though not always as exciting as works of fiction) intrigue her.

Drawing: Like her father Bell enjoys creating things, though on a much smaller scale to Maurice. Though you won’t catch her sketching everyday, she does enjoy it and the pictures she does create are usually beautiful and detailed, perhaps the way she sees the world around her.

Singing: Again though its’ not often you’ll catch her singing, when she starts, it’s hard not to listen, she has a beautiful voice (though she herself is particularly modest about it) and the melodies she sings are full of emotion.

Exploring: Belles curiosity is insatiable and a lot of the time it gets her into trouble though she means no harm by it. She enjoys exploring anything new, constantly looking for adventure to break up her somewhat boring and all to familiar village life.

- Dislikes –

Arrogance: She hates it. It is a trait Belle can’t stand in anyone and unluckily for her, more often then not, always manages to find her in the form of Gaston.

Rudeness: The same way she feels about arrogance. Another thing which manages to somehow find it’s way to her.

Hot Tempers: If you take a temper in front of her, she won’t run away, she’ll stand her ground and tell you to control it. She doesn’t like being shouted at and will definitely react if you challenge her.

The Quiet Life: Though she loves her father and the village she lives in, Belle craves adventure, wishing desperately for something to come along and shake up her quite, provincial lifestyle.

~* Dreams || Fears *~

“I want adventure in the great wide somewhere, I want it more then I can tell”

(( Will also add when I return =D ))

.::* History *::.

“Tale old as time. True as it can be”

((Yep, same here I shall add when I return a little later =D ))

« Result #19 Yesterday at 1:17am »

Hey, everybody! I'm in the mood to laugh, so I ask of you to try and make me laugh. Pretty please? For this game I'll try not to laugh, but at the same time I promise I'll be honest if I do laugh, or at least react considerably. 8-)

Your job is to do something, say something, post something, whatever something to try and get me to laugh, just as long as it is suitable for this family-friendly forum!

I guess this should continue after I do laugh. So I guess the first person who succeeds in getting me to giggle will be the next 'it.'

All right! On your mark, get set, MAKE ME LAUGH.

Alice nodded, bent and picked up the wand once more. She stood and looked back to the current page and read the spell loud and clear, pronouncing he Latin words as best as she could, while pointing the want to Edith.

After reciting the different spell, Edith was once again shrouded by a large poof of smoke. When the smoke cleared, what was once a light purple pig was now a light purple fox! Regrettably not a human, but Edith was undeniably more fetching as a blue-eyed, purple-coated fox than as a pig.

"Oh, Edith!" Alice exclaimed and frowned when she noticed Edith. "You're a fox now!" She sighed, pocketed the wand and flipped through the pages once again.

*The skeleton reeled a bit as the horseman took his sword back forcibly. Straightening his suit, he then watched the apparition ride off, scowling a bit. Hopefully, the spirit wouldn't be back, but he had somewhat a feeling deep down that the horseman WOULD be. That matter taken care of, he looks back down to Alice, his expression finally softening, smiling a bit at the young girl, bowing kindly.*

Oh, it's no trouble, really...I'm terribly sorry for frightening you earlier. That spirit has been troubling the townsfolk for some time now. It's one thing to scare someone out of the fun of Halloween, but he tried to harm as well as frighten...and he had everyone much too afraid to so much as leave their homes at night.

*Blinking, the skeleton realized something.*

Oh! Where are my manners. I am Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King. And you are...?

*Tarzan had followed Queen La deep into the jungle, as he'd heard from a few other animals that they'd spotted her, and he tracked her as he went. He wasn't quite sure what she wanted, but knowing La's usual intentions, it...probably wasn't something good. He hid in the canopy, listening in to the conversation between her and Simba. The apeman peers over La to see the darkened entrance to the temple to see what they're talking about...something he'd never seen before in the jungle, oddly enough. But if something was indeed affecting the jungle as well as the Savannah, he would need to know. Unafraid, he steps out from his hiding spot.*

I would like to know, as well.

Name: Tiana.

Alias: Tia (nickname, used primarily by Charolette)

Age: 18 (a guess; it's not exactly stated.)

Is From: New Orleans, Louisiana.

Species: Human.

Gender: Female.

Likes: Cooking, her friends, Naveen, owning a restaurant

Dislikes: Being called a stick in the mud, Frogs (well, up until she -became- one, anyway...), Gator Hunters.

Normal Attire: Yellow dress and blouse, white undershirt; when she's out and about in cooler weather she also wears a green trenchcoat, and a matching colored scoop hat.

Powers: She has no magical powers that I'm aware of, she's a regular human. xD

Edith thought for a moment. The fact that the words were worn and faded worried her. What if this spell turned her into something far more humiliating than a pig? But then again, there was a chance that it would turn her back into a human, or at least something less embarrassing than a pig. She was willing to take the risk.

"Very well." said Edith. "Give it a try!"

After Alice was convinced that her sister was no longer suffocating, she calmed considerably. In fact, she was relieved to the point where she actually giggled after Edith squealed like a pig, which was no surprise, considering she was now a pig!

Alice dropped the wand and covered her mouth while carrying the book with the other, and she shook her head as she tried to stop herself. "I'm sorry, Edith! But... but you were awfully close to death; I had to turn you into something! But if you ask me, you make a beautiful pig!" As she made that last comment, Alice closed her eyes and laughed harder. Despite the humor she found in this, she quickly thought of the likely possibility that Edith was distressed. And so Alice opened her eyes, lowered her hand back to the book so that she may carry it with both of her hands, and she tilted her head downward so that she could read the book again.

"Hmm, let's see," Alice said aloud. "This must be one of Merlin's spell books. But I can't find anything for humans." Alice worriedly looked from the book to Edith. "Oh! But there must be!" She returned her attention to the book after the reassuring comment. "If only I could find--" She gasped and, while holding the bottom of the book with her right hand, pointed to a particular sentence with her left index finger. "I can't read what this spell is supposed to be, for it isn't clear; it's worn and faded." She looked back to the pig. "But I can read the words to the spell. Should I try?" Her expressive eyebrows arched.

“Hmmm, better look first. For if one drinks much from a bottle marked 'poison', it's almost certain to disagree with one, sooner or later!”

*It was a bright and sunny day, the morning sun casting it's glow on the glistening snow. Merlin had been called to the castle for an important meeting with Cinderella, and not having too many chores for once, Arthur decided to tag along. Following his mentor, he glanced around in awe. He'd never been in such a beautiful, lavish castle before...sure there was Sir Ector's castle but that...decidedly needed some repair work, compared to this one. And he'd never been in the one in town, so he couldn't compare that. After glancing at a rather large, pointed sword hanging on a wall, he glances to the old wizard.*

Merlin, have you been to many castles like this?

Merlin: [about Archimedes] When he stays out all night, he's always grumpy the next morning.
Arthur: He must stay out every night.

"Indeed they are," Edith said, nodding her head in agreement with Alice. "Perhaps this place is not as bad as I previously thought."

Edith reached for the nearest tea pot and refilled her cup.

*It was a busy day on Bourbon street...trolleys rattled up and down the tracks noisily, carrying loads of people, a street band played upbeat, dixieland music, many people gathering around to hear them play. Tiana had just finished cooking a morning batch of Beignets, loading them into a basket carefully after sugaring them, and covering them. Mama Odie had grown fond of them, so she made special arrangements to meet the Voodoo Fairy Godmother at her swamp shack in the bayou. She slipped on her brown overcoat and large scoop shaped hat, and grasping the basket, headed out.

Taking the Trolley as far down as it could go, she headed into the swamp. Tiana comes to a fork in the road. She sighs, blowing a few loose hairs back under her hat.*

I reckon things look way different from way up here, least I don't gotta worry about bayou hunters, though. Well Tiana, ya made it through here before....but question is, which way should I go?

Fairytales can come true
But you gotta make it happen,
It all depends on you
So I work real hard each and every day,

"Yes," said Edith. "I can breathe again."

But something wasn't quite right. Edith noticed that she was still smaller than Alice. She tilted her head downwards and noticed that her feet were now hooves. Edith let out a shirek, which emerged in the form of a squeal.

"Is this your idea of a joke?" Edith shouted angrily.

Edith couldn't bear the thought of a proper English lady such as herself being turned into a pig, an animal which many people perceive to be filthy. But Edith quickly discarded such thoughts, for she was more concerned with returning to her human form.

"Hurry up and find the correct spell!" Edith commanded.
