Just north of Tarrytown, New York, was Sleepy Hollow. It was another warm, quiet day in Sleepy Hollow. The village had activity in the square, but as usual hardly a thing was boisterous. Sleepy Hollow would be the ideal retreat, from the perspective of a man who had never visited the town, let alone was aware of the local ghost stories.
