Me, too! To me, video games are my second wife. My first wife is animation, but video gaming is VERY close behind. Wait, Amanda could be reading this...! Amandaaaaaaaaa, you're not even a numeric wife, because you dominate all! The first video game character I ever costumed as, I think, is Sonic the Hedgehog. I was either in the first or second grade at the time! Have you played Assassin's Creed II yet, Clopin? I still need to! Until my brother is finished with it, though, I got Tatsunoko vs. Capcom waiting for me on Tuesday. And I still need to play Arkham Asylum. Jeeeez...

A couple who lives less than a mile away from my family's house still has their Halloween decorations up. The decorations heavily consist of a fake graveyard, pumpkins, cobwebs, and a mummy. Because the property is very bizarre by comparison with any other house on my street, said property reminds me of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas every time I pass by it.

I found a unique advertisement pinned on a bulletin board in UNR's Joe Crowley Student Union building. Sorry for the blur in the digital photo; my hands weren't steady when I snagged the picture. ... Wow, my phone's pictures have big-ass dimensions.

Earlier today, I walked by (but did not enter) a Fenton's Creamery. Fenton's was notably referenced in Disney-Pixar's Up.

At one point during a quiz I took last night, I stopped, tapped my forehead with my right hand several times and said, "Think, think, think..." Just like Winnie the Pooh. --- The crescent moon above me tonight reminded me a lot of the Cheshire Cat.

Props to you for recognizing it, Danny! ;D I love the Hot Shots! movies, and Part Deux is no exception. Parody movies can be funny if they're done correctly.

Twice this semester, Main Street U.S.A. was used an example for the concept of postmodernism.

the character Bill, of Left 4 Dead fame, shares his entire name, with the antagonistic character Commander "Wild" Bill Overbeck from the Disney film, "Rocketman".

At some point earlier today, I stuck my chest out and proudly stated, "I use antlers in all of my decorating!"

In my journalism final today, one of the questions was, "How can Disneyland be connected with postmodernism?" ----------------------- Alice: "Today is my birthday!"

Yes so in science a while ago we were playing review games, and while my team named ourselves nobody, we had a team that called themselves the heffalumps. Also, a few days ago, my stomach went rawr and I raised my hand to see if I could go attack the vending machine cause I had a rumbly in my tumbly.

Heh! Both of those were Pooh-tastic events, Pigeilgi!
Years ago, I was dining in an Italian restaurant with my family. A female singer who was paid to be there came to our table and serenaded to us. What did she sing? "Bella Notte."

Not exactly "real life," but I found this amusing. In an episode of "Man v. Food," host Adam Richman's eating challenge was a 12-egged, five pound omelette including hash browns and toast. Richman was amazed by the width and length of the eggs as they were cooked. He described the eggs as, "Aladdin and Jasmine rode this thing to a whole new world."

In The Wall Street Journal date June 8, 2010, various fictional characters were psychologically analyzed. Winnie the Pooh and a few of his friends were featured:
Analysts have had a field day in the "Hundred Acre Wood" with A.A. Milne's characters. While the world of Winnie the Pooh seems innocent on the surface, "it is clear to our group of modern neurodevelopmentalists that these are in fact stories of seriously troubled individuals, many of whom meet DSM-IV criteria for significant disorders," wrote Sarah E. Shea and colleagues in the Canadian Medical Association Journal in 2000, referring to the handbook of diagnoses.
Piglet clearly suffers from generalized anxiety disorder, the authors noted. Eeyore has chronic dysthymia (mild depression) and could benefit greatly from an antidepressant. Tigger is hyperactive, impulsive and a risk-taker.
Pooh is a bundle of comorbidities that may include cognitive impairment, as he is often described as a "bear of very little brain." "Early on, we see Pooh being dragged downstairs bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head," the authors write. "Could this later cognitive struggle to be the result of a type of Shaken Bear Syndrome?"
If you want my two cents, these authors apparently have quite a bit of free time on their hands...

and at Grauman's Chinese Theater I saw Donald Duck's footprints in the cement courtyard
