Hey! It's been quite a long time since I posted any news-related threads here in FK, but here's something I think everyone should know.
There are two items.
1) The president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, really wants to team up with Disney to create Marvel attractions for Disney parks. "It's the biggest dream of all. We get to tap into this spectacular team that is better than anyone else on the planet at bringing fantasy to life, not only on the big screen but in the real world. The notion of walking into a theme park and going into Asgard or the X-Mansion—Disney does this better than anyone. That is why I've gone to Disney parks multiple times every year for my whole life. It's that next step in fully immersive storytelling, whether it's a dark ride, a stunt show, or a thrill ride. The options are endless when it comes to how Imagineers can turn our characters, our adventures, and our films into amazing experiences."

2) Pixar is NOT going to make any Marvel-licensed film whatsoever. Said John Lasseter in an interview, "No, not at Pixar. We have The Incredibles, so we've done superheroes here ourselves and so we have that kind of history with Brad Bird doing The Incredibles."

I can't really argue against the notion of a Marvel-themed attraction in Disney's parks, because I totally support and love other such 'non-Disney' attractions (Indiana Jones and Star Wars). Regarding Pixar, I'm glad they won't be making Marvel films. We already have many Marvel films, and many more are being developed and produced.
