Hey, everybody. I'd like to ask for your opinions.
Take a look at the Fan Works page, and you'll see that they now consists of sub-boards.
My question is this: should FK have more sub-boards in role-playing categories? And if so, any suggestions on what some of the sub-boards could be?
This is a question every FK member should answer truthfully.
I personally think sub-boards would make the forum more clean and presentable, and less cluttered.
Thanks! ^^

Suggestions so far:
Land of the Black Sands
Possibly remove Under the Sea and insert Atlantica and Atlantis within FK Archipelago.
Ancient Ruins

One more...perhaps an Elephant Graveyard section in the Pridelands, for Scar to mince around in?

Hope you don't mind me throwing in my opinion about that elephant graveyard section, but as his roleplayer I don't think that sub board would really be necessary for him. It's just as easy to write it in the subject heading so people know where he is if he chooses to go there. I don't know how often I would use that area anyway... kinda like him being sneaky in the Pridelands. Anyway! That's just my two cents, but thanks for thinking of him.

FIGHT HAPPENING HERE, EVERYBODY! AMANDA AND KRISTINA ARE GONNA DUKE IT OUT OVER CONFLICTING OPINIONS!! Kidding! Do you have any other suggestions, Kris? A while ago you said you had some opinions for sub-boards. Unless they require more time to type, in which case we can wait.

The recent roleplay with Gaston and Katrina got me thinking a Sleepy Hollow sub-board might work in the Spooky Woods... a (seemingly, anyway) average town to serve as sort of a haven in the middle of the creepy forest. Can't say if it would be very active, but it's a thought, anyway...
The introduction of Pinocchio characters means a board suitable for them might be needed... some sort of quaint little village or something, maybe. Not really from any particular film; Belle & Maurice could live there, as well (not sure about Belle's current situation in the FK canon, though, and if she's living in Beast's Castle now or what...). Anyway, not really sure where this would fit..
Also, if it's ever used again, Jafar's Quarters (in the Villains' Domain) might fit better as a sub-board for Agrabah.

I agree with Andrew's suggestions (particularly the general "village" area) and he has touched on my "sub board" issues as well.
I am not opposed to having sub boards and they're great for orgranizing, but I think that there's a danger of having too many areas that are so specialized only a limited amount of characters would have reason to go there. For example if we had a "West Wing," really the only people who could be there would be Beast's servants or Beast.
I like Andrew's idea of having a generic "Village" forum where any little village can find a home. Or even a Village forum with subboards of "France," "Italy," and "Miscellaneous" so that people who don't have a specific place, but have a village can go there.
Bascially, I just want to say that while I support sub boards, I do think that if more are added, they should be ones that can be relatively open for most characters and that we should not add too many. While it may look organized, too many specific areas can will prevent others from being used when all it takes is an indication in a subject heading or for someone to read a first post to figure out where those characters are.

... It seriously took you that long just to type that, Kris? YOU'RE ANTICLIMACTIC!! Kidding! Thanks for the suggestions and your two cents, everyone. ^^ While I do think sub-boards are necessary, I assure you we're not going to go overboard. Our goal is to try and 1) make things tidier and 2) broaden the horizon. Thinking of what environment post to make in a category shouldn't be a lengthy life decision. So, expect to see these suggestions applied sometime this week.
