Real Name: San Hisaishi
Alias: She-Wolf
Age: 18
Species: Human
Sex: Female
Nationality: Japanese-American
Alignment: Lawful Good
Affiliated With: The Dream League; the pack of wolf gods in the depths of Calisota's forests
Status: Active
Physical Description: 5'3'' in height. Body is fit, well-toned and even somewhat muscular, but still very lithe; short, dark-brown hair that doesn't even reach the shoulders; face is slender and beautiful, but not strikingly so; eyes are a dark grayish-brown.
Appearance (Dream League): (CLICK HERE) Wears a dark blue, dress-like tunic that reaches shortly above the knees, underneath a belt and a white cloth that covers the chest and back; a white wolfskin cape, with the tail still intact; a necklace made from the teeth of some large predator; a dark blue headband with a light-colored gem in the center, and similar bands on both arms; large, flat, circular silver earrings; beige moccasins; triangular red face-paint markings on both cheeks and forehead. May sometimes wear a red and tan tribal mask (CLICK HERE) in battle to intimidate foes. Has fangs that are visible when angered.
Appearance (Outside of Costume): When forced to wear average human clothing, San prefers comfortable, loose-fitting and inconspicuous clothes such as hooded sweatshirts and jeans. Does not wear face paint or headband when dressed as a civilian.
Abilities and Powers: She-Wolf's most notable power is her ability to transform her fingernails into large, sturdy and razor-sharp claws. She can revert them to and from fingernails or claws whenever she wishes - these are her weapons of choice when fighting. Some of her teeth also shift into canine fangs when she is angered or defending herself, and can deliver powerful bites if she so wishes. When not using her claws, She-Wolf can also defend herself with quick, well-timed punches and kicks. She-Wolf is a close-range fighter, and has no ranged attacks.
Besides fang and claw, She-Wolf has all the physical attributes and enhanced senses of a wild animal, including strength that is above an average human's, superb agility and running speed, prolonged stamina, and incredibly keen senses of hearing, sight (she is also able to see clearly in the dark) and smell.
The powers granted to She-Wolf by the wolf gods may hold even more surprises, however...
Weaknesses: She-Wolf's powers are all purely physical, so she often falls short when faced with a foe with magic, psychic powers or other non-physical abilities. Regarding personal weaknesses, she is a suspicious, harsh and untrusting girl - which can be an advantage when it comes to villains, but a hindrance in relation to her teammates; it can take some time to win her trust and respect. Stubborn, hot-tempered, and not always much of a team player.
Accessories: Besides pieces of her outfit (such as her wolf-tooth necklace, etc) and her mask, She-Wolf also possesses an arrowhead knife which she used as a tool and weapon, before being gifted with her powers. She continues to keep this knife, as a spare weapon or for other uncertain reasons.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): San Hisaishi was born into a relatively average, middle-class Japanese-American family, and was blessed with devoted, truly loving parents. Ever since she was a child, however, she rather disliked the company of others and was antisocial - with the exception of her parents, whom she loved more than anything else. Having witnessed, as a young girl, the death of both of her parents right before her eyes at the hands of ruthless criminals, the girl was orphaned and alone that very instant, and ever since, has shunned humanity and any contact with it; now, with the only two people that she has ever trusted gone from her life, she saw all of the human race as cruel and ruthless.
Before she could even be found and taken into custody, the traumatized young girl fled into the distant forests, and, starving and near-death, was taken in by a mother wolf, who, out of maternal instinct, took her in as her own rather than feeding her to her own cubs. Ever since, the girl has stayed there in that forest, living with the wolf pack as one of their own kind - scorning humanity, she has taken to living with animal-kind.
In a twist of fate, however, these were no ordinary wolves - they were forest gods, protectors of the wilderness. By their power, the girl had become more than human; she had gained superhuman, animalistic abilities, such as enhanced agility and senses, and retractable claws and fangs, as a gift from the benevolent wolf gods. With these powers, the girl had truly become one of the pack, and used these abilities to defend the forest and its creatures from malicious outsiders of any sort. However, one fateful day, the wolf girl is drawn out from her forest home... and back into the technologically-dominated realm of man - leading to her future affiliation with the Dream League.
In regards to her personality, as mentioned before, San is very terse, shy and withdrawn at first, often to the point of being outright cold and bitter. Slowly but surely, however, the time she spends with the Dream League eases her suspicious nature and allows her to trust people once again - even so, however, she remains a very reserved person, truly opening up to only a lucky few. Once one becomes close enough with her, San can be rather friendly, patient and understanding when she wants to - and even when not, she will remain a loyal and devoted friend to the end. San is a courageous, passionate and (although she tries with all her might to hide it) emotional girl, with a strong sense of justice, who will immediately stand up for herself or the things (and people) she loves and believes in, and it is because of this characteristic that she has even become a hero.
