Alias: Bongo - being a bear, he has no middle or last name.
Age: Around three years.
Species: Ursus americanus, American black bear (brown race)
Sex: Male
Nationality: American
Alignment: Good
Affiliated With: The Dream League
Status: Active
Appearance: A small brown bear that stands and walks around on his hind legs, standing at around three feet tall. Still wears his circus clothes - a strap-on yellow and red cap, a white collar, a blue bowtie and a red shirt.
Abilities and Powers: Bongo's special powers are all 100% physical - the radiation from the glowing meteor he had encountered greatly enhanced his muscle strength and durability. In essential terms, he is the miniature tank of the Dream League. His consequential abilities include super-strength, especially in his arms and fists; great physical resistance (it takes a lot to bring him down, as most powerful blows will only leave him dazed for a second or two); and the ability to move his limbs at incredible speeds, allowing for such attacks as rapid-fire punches. Because of his short legs, he cannot run too fast without falling over, but while on his unicycle, he can pedal with such velocity as to send him and the unicycle rocketing at high-speed.
Weaknesses: It can be easy for Bongo to overuse his muscle strength or speed to the point where it almost completely wears him out, enough to render him unable to fight for a while - he is highly vulnerable in this state. As all of Bongo's special abilities are physical, he may have difficulty facing off against enemies with nonphysical powers, such as magic or psychic abilities. Has a childlike curiosity that tends to get him into trouble, often. He also has a tendency to become cocky when things are going well for him, or to misjudge the difficulty of a particular foe or obstacle. Also rather clumsy, sometimes. Has a voracious appetite that can lead to trouble, at times.
Accessories: A unicycle, his favored mode of transportation for long distances.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): Bongo was born and raised as the star of a small, traveling circus in the western United States. He was the favorite act of all circusgoers, performing death-defying stunts and amazing feats of strength and agility. Being such a beloved star definitely had its merits, and Bongo often quite enjoyed performing for his audiences - but, of course, no animal can really be happy in a circus. The poor bear spent all of his days and nights, outside of performing, in a menagerie cage the size of a bathroom; soon came the day where he simply couldn't take it anymore, and succumbed to his natural desire to roam the open wilderness by escaping.
It was always clear that this little bear was a tough customer, with remarkable strength, considering his diminutive size - however, one day, upon coming across a strange glowing rock that had fallen from the sky, Bongo felt even ten times stronger than before! No other bear in all the forest was a match for him, now - regardless, Bongo was a peacable little fellow who disliked fighting without a reason, but never stepped down when he saw somebody in trouble.
One day, Bongo's travels took him to a marvelous, space-age city... and it was here that his affiliation with the Dream League began.
As far as personality goes, Bongo is likely one of the friendliest bears you'll ever meet. He's polite and amiable to nearly all he meets - likely a result of growing up around and being raised by humans. He's friendly only so long as you aren't a crook, however - Bongo has an innate desire to protect others, which is what led him to join the Dream League in the first place, and will do everything he can to stop a villain from performing acts harmful to others. He's a pugnacious fighter when the situation calls for it, but otherwise, he's as easygoing as bears come, more often than not managing to maintain a cheerful disposition. He has an almost childlike naivety about many things, which can lead to some confusion about which is right and wrong.
Voice Actor: None - Bongo can't talk!
