Post by Ludwig Von Drake on Jun 16, 2011 14:14:06 GMT -8
Name: Ludwig Von Drake
Age: Unknown, but at least 60
Species: Anthropomorphic duck
Sex: Male
Nationality: Austrian
Alignment: Good (although he manages to see a little good in everybody, so alignments aren't entirely clear to him)
Affiliated With: No particular affiliations.
Status: Active
Physical Description: An elderly white anthropomorphic duck of average height. His physical build is more or less similar to his nephew Donald's, although his neck is slightly longer than the average anthro duck's. He has bushy gray eyebrows and tufts of shaggy gray, balding hair surrounding the sides and back of his head. Blue eyes, like most of his kind.
Appearance: Von Drake is always a dapper dresser, usually preferring professional-looking suit jackets over dress shirts, always accompanied by a necktie - the colors of his outfits tend to vary, but his suit jackets are most often a shade of blue or green. Like most anthro ducks, he does not wear pants.
Abilities and Powers: He has no superpowers, but he certainly isn't your average citizen of Calisota - his sheer intellect and nearly all-encompassing worldly knowledge have few rivals.
Weaknesses: Despite his genius, he is a full-blown scatterbrain, often quite bumbling, overly talkative (so much that he may end up going off into a conversation with himself, halfway through talking with somebody else), and just a bit on the kooky side.
Accessories: A pair of spectacles that usually rest on the edge of his bill. He usually tends to carry around a small notepad and pen in the pocket of his jacket.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): World-renowned throughout the scientific community (among others), Ludwig Von Drake, frankly, is a genius among ducks. His vast knowledge encompasses a seemingly endless variety of fields - any and all branches of science, mathematics, history, psychology... the list goes on. Ludwig has had a fascination with knowledge in general for his entire lifetime, and has more than a few diplomas and awards to boast of.
Although it wouldn't be strange to hear Von Drake brag about his brains, you definitely wouldn't know he was such a genius at first - the duck is on the very verge of senility. His brain is racked with information of all kinds, but more often than not it is completely scattered, giving Von Drake common absent-minded tendencies and a forgetful nature. No matter the situation, however, Ludwig always has the answer... somewhere in that brain of his.
Ludwig has had a variety of careers over his lifetime, but has retired from most scientific and academic fields. Nowadays, he spends his time as one of the world's most renowned psychiatrists. Recently, he has taken up the job of examining insane criminals housed in D'Arque Asylum, determined to figure out what makes them tick and just what it is that makes a madman mad in the first place. Despite having settled down in Epcot City for the moment, he hasn't the slightest idea that both his nephew, Donald, and his brother-in-law, Scrooge McDuck, patrol that very city as a part of the famous team of superheroes, the Dream League,
