Real Name: Merlin
Alias: Paradox
Age: He's elderly, but he has long forgotten his exact age
Species: Human
Sex: Male
Nationality: English
Alignment: Good
Affiliated With: The Dream League
Status: Active
Physical Description (Body structure, eye color, hair color, etc.):
Appearance (Dream League): Paradox's costume is a light parody of Doctor Strange's. His shirt is blue and loose fitting, so it resembles a robe, but it's held in place by a yellow belt tied in a knot on the side. His pants are black and his Medieval-like shoes are brown. He wears a red cape with gold trimmings, and his cape has a large collar that circles the back of his head. His gloves are gold. He doesn't wear any kind of headgear as Paradox, but he still wears glasses. His face is completely exposed.
Appearance (Outside of Costume): As Merlin, he wears a wizard's hat, robe, and shoes, all blue in color. Under his robe he wears a wifebeater and pink boxers.
Abilities and Powers: A wide variety of magic spells. Paradox can use spells of elements such as snow, wind, and fire. He can also transform himself into animals, and he can travel through time.
Weaknesses: Despite Merlin's tremendous magic powers, he is physically weak. He's not a brawler or a direct fighter by any means, and must attack from a distance for best results. He's also absent minded and forgetful, and he can forget important details and incantations at any given time. Stubbornness, crankiness, and impatience are also notable flaws.
Accessories: His brown, wooden, simple magic staff as Merlin, though as Paradox he goes bare-handed.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): Merlin is the world's most powerful wizard, at least on the side of good. He educated the legendary British king, Arthur, and continued to assist the king in Camelot.
One night, Merlin was visited by fate, and directed him, Arthur, and Archimedes the owl to the future, specifically Epcot City, to join the Dream League. In the Dream League, Merlin is known as Paradox, Arthur is known as Sir Pendragon, and Archimedes is known as... Archimedes.
Paradox is incredibly wise, intelligent, knowledgeable, and a powerful sorcerer. He is fluent in English, Latin, and French, but is probably well taught in other languages as well. He is obsessed with knowledge and learning, and even in his advanced age he yearns to learn more.
He is kind and loyal, and can be a grandfather-like figure. But despite his good heart, he can be cranky, impatient, and contentious to other members, especially to Archimedes. He is also very absent minded, to the point where he sometimes forget what era he's in.
But through his faults, this powerful magician will aid the Dream League, as he was directed to. Paradox's catchphrase is, "A noggin full of knowledge is the magic key."
