Real Name: Percy Peter "Pete" Percival
Alias: Tarantula
Age: Late 30's
Species: Anthropomorphic Disney cat
Sex: Male
Nationality: American
Alignment: Neutral, though mostly criminal
Affiliated With: None
Status: Active
Physical Description (Body structure, eye color, hair color, etc.): An obese and tall anthropomorphic cat six feet tall. He has black fur that completely covers his body, with the exception of his shaven muzzle and the inside of his small feline ears. Though he has a good amount of teeth, he has four large incisors that are seen every time he opens his mouth. His incisors are white and squarish, with flat surfaces. His muscular arms are noticeably longer than his legs. He has two large feet. The largest part of his body is his stomach, which is several times larger than his head.
Appearance: Pete changes his clothes often, therefore he doesn't have a standard costume of any kind. He is most commonly seen wearing bulbous brown shoes, denim overalls (sometimes with or without a shirt underneath), and a brown trench coat. But as previously stated, he doesn't have a costume that's consistent. Whatever shirts he wears, he has holes cut in the back for his appendages.
His mechanical, silver appendages were constructed to resist radiation, and are bulletproof. Each arm can stretch up to ten feet, and they can move with extreme precision, controlled by a computer interface connected to Pete's brain.
Abilities and Powers: Though overweight, Tarantula is faster than he looks. He's physically strong, and an accomplished fighter in fisticuffs. He also has his four mechanical appendages.
Weaknesses: Arrogant; cocky; overweight. Though he's streetwise, his actual intelligence is only slightly above average, considerably less than certain members of the Dream League. He's also easily swayed to either side ('good' or 'bad') when the money's on the table.
Accessories: His appendages; cigars
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): Percy Peter Percival, better known (and prefers to be known) as Pete, was born and raised in Mouseton, Calisota. He was frequently in trouble as a lad due to his penchant for fighting. He was kicked out of several schools before his parents finally forced him into a military academy. The academy seemed to have cured his fighting bug, and he ultimately graduated and served in the Kahlian War. During the war, he developed a reputation for his surprising and unconventional attacks. He was reportedly solely responsible for bringing down a bridge that often carried Khalia's supply trucks, with nothing but a shovel and a hand grenade. After the war, Pete returned to the United States and worked as a drill sergeant. As chance would have it, Pete was Donald Duck's drill sergeant when the duck was in boot camp.
Unfortunately, Pete's bad behavior resurfaced as he worked as a boot camp, and often abused his powers beyond verbal insults to his pupils. After one too many physical violations, Pete was fired and sent home to Mouseton. He worked numerous jobs but could never keep an occupation for long. Most of Pete's arrests during that time was because of public brawling, especially in bars.
One day, Pete was desperate for cash to pay the rent of his crummy apartment, and, reluctantly, he agreed to participate as a 'paid guinea pig' in an experiment conducted by scientists and engineers, who at the time were developing mechanical arms that were attached to a harness. The harness was fitted around Pete's body. The brain-computer interface was also installed into Pete through the nape of his neck. Gaining control of the appendages, Pete soon felt empowered and greedy. He did something not scheduled or predicted for the experiment: he rebelled, shoved aside the scientists and engineers, and escaped the facility. After successfully robbing a bank and evading the police with his bulletproof and powerful mechanical arms, Pete left Mouseton.
Sometime between moving from Mouseton to Epcot City, he adopted the alias Tarantula. He will eventually be a recurring enemy of the Dream League.
Tarantula isn't as evil as some of the other supervillains in Epcot City, if evil at all. In fact, outside of the war, he has never been known to kill anyone. He seems to enjoy fighting and winning brawls without murderous intent, though his 'morality' has not been confirmed, and the Dream League probably wouldn't want to test it.
Pete is cocky, boorish, and witty. He speaks with a booming, deep voice with a distinctive accent, often pronouncing t's with d's. Dat's right.
