Just as the ninja mallard had pole-vaulted himself to get from one roof to the next as he made his way to his destination a huge explosion erupted from just a couple of blocks away. The impact caused a light, rumbling shockwave which shook his previously firmly-planted wooden pole off balance, disrupting his thrust midair. As his trusty pole betrayed him he began to free-fall, grabbing outward as he caught a flag pole protruding from the side of the adjacent building he had been aiming for. Like a gymnast he somersaulted upward using the pole, landing gracefully on the safety of the rooftop. Throughout the mishap he had managed to hang on to his staff, which he slid back into the holster on his back once he was again on solid ground.
What the heck was that, he thought to himself, his attention cast in the direction of the explosion. It seemed his plans to pay a visit to the reporter would have to be put on hold, as something big was going down in downtown. Altering his intended direction he plotted a new course toward the sound of the explosion. It didn't take him long to arrive at his destination: bank. A large section of the left side of the building was in ruins, thick smoke bellowing out of the gaping hole.
Below him he noted a news van and two figures: a reporter and her cameraman. No, not just any reporter, the same reporter who had covered the story on him! She was an attractive, black-haired canine, while the cameraman was a short, tubby beagle with a five o'clock shadow, a large camera with the station's insignia on its side seemingly glued to his left eye as he recorded her speaking into a hand-held microphone. The paparazzi had arrived before the police... before the Dream League... and even before a ninja who prided himself on speed. Man, if news reporters could become heroes they'd put the Flash to shame, he thought to himself as he shook his head in awe. But he couldn't be bothered with the reporter at this time - a bank heist was obviously in progress and that took priority over clearing his name.
He began to plot a course to make it into the building without being seen by the media when he heard a strange rumbling sound. A slab of concrete resting in the hole the bank now sported re-situated and began to slide out, the reporter and cameraman directly below. The cameraman's lens trailed upward before he lowered the camera, his eyes growing wide and his lower lip trembling. "What are you doing? I didn't call for any cuts!" The reporter loudly whispered in irritation, her back to the impending doom which was falling toward them, making her oblivious to the danger.
Without hesitation, Cold Shadow descended from the rooftop, making a speedy beeline for the two of them. He grabbed the reporter by slinking one arm around her waist as she let out a surprised gasp while he simultaneously grabbed the right arm of the cameraman, whose gaze was locked and frozen on the falling slab. He quickly leaped away, towing both of them along. The reporter had a deathgrip on her microphone, but the bulkier camera the cameraman was holding slipped from his grip and fell onto the sidewalk, where it was utterly crushed a millisecond later by the fallen heap of debris.
Cold Shadow landed from his leap a fair distance away. He could have jumped farther under normal circumstances, but he was carrying the wait of three people. Still, they were more than a reasonable safe distance should anything else dislodge and threaten to crush them. The reporter now had the same wide-eyed, trembling lower-lip stare as the cameraman (or perhaps just 'man' now, sans camera) as they stared, dazed, at what had just transpired as if they were both hypnotized.
Satisfied that the two were safe, Cold Shadow hopped atop the concrete which had just fallen, using it as a stepping stone as he then jumped up into the gaping mouth in the side of the building from which smoke still puffed out in droves. Front doors were never his style.

"There it is!" Duck Avenger shouted as he saw the obvious destination ahead. It was a bank, and smoke spewed out from the windows constantly, looking as though it'd never end. A crowd had gathered outside the bank, and, of course, there was the recognizable local news van. Yes, Duck Avenger (and any Epcot City resident, for that matter) could recognize the gaudy, self-promoting paint and logo on that white van from anywhere. Duck Avenger wasted no time running to the least damaged part of the building (which wasn't saying much), although the quicker Dreamchild and Bongo beat him to it by several seconds. He looked up the building, then to his companions, and then back up to a window.
"Stay here, Dreamchild! This is too dangerous." Dreamchild spoke to protest, but Duck Avenger snapped to her. "That's an order! Stay here!" Satisfied with Dreamchild's nod in defeat, looked up to the window one last time.
He took out his grapple hook aimed at the right spot, and fired. In no time, he zipped up to the window and kicked through it. Glass triangles scattered the room, and Duck Avenger landed gracefully in the room, hunched over. He looked up and could only see fire. His cape was a fire hazard, for sure, so he detached it and dropped it out the window for either Dreamchild or Bongo to catch. Then he moved further into the bombed bank, looking for anyone, most of all Cold Shadow.

Dreamchild begrudgingly caught Duck Avenger's cape, and folded it neatly by instinct. Although she handled Duck Avenger's belonging, she had a sour look on her face. She never liked being yelled at, even if it was out of concern, or from a superior. But she was sure Duck Avenger didn't mean to offend her, so in time she'd just drop the matter altogether.
She looked to Bongo to say something as she clutched Duck Avenger's cape, but she heard the (loud) news reporter brag to the crowd how Cold Shadow, a supposed thief, saved lives just over a minute ago, "most importantly, hers!"
Dreamchild stared at the news reporter (the crowd paid more attention to her than the Dream League; they were still a new team, so it figures they weren't so popular now), and she telepathically communicated with Duck Avenger.
<<Duck Avenger, Cold Shadow saved some people's lives just now. Now I really don't think he's the culprit.>>

Duck Avenger still needed to get used to the occasional mental conversations with Dreamchild. It was eerie to hear a voice that's definitely not his speak to him through his mind, even though he has been subjected to it before, the latest not even ten minutes ago. Duck Avenger grunted and thought back for Dreamchild to receive.
<<Then who's the real Cold Shadow? Uh--I mean, the guy who framed him?>>
As Duck Avenger had the mental conversation with Dreamchild, he kept moving through wrecked bank, and thought he saw Cold Shadow. The duck ducked behind a bank counter before he could be seen. He couldn't stay there for long, though; it was risky.

In truth, the 'Cold Shadow' that Duck Avenger saw was not the real Cold Shadow at all. It was the impostor that the true ninja would 'love' to meet in person. The duck may have looked similar to Cold Shadow from news footage and from a distance, but the closer one got to the impostor, the more it was apparent that he was, well, an impostor. His build, although lean, was not quite as impressive as the real Cold Shadow's, and the feathers at the front of his head was a different pattern. Also, his bill was shorter. Especially to ducks, these changes were noticeable.
The impostor pulled open the then-unlocked vault, and took a second to admire the large amount of money in the large safe.
"The boss will love this!" said the impostor, with a voice that definitely did not belong to the real ninja. This gloating would prove to be a big (and incriminating) mistake. He was just about to leap into the vault, when...

Cold Shadow made his way through the rubble. Occasionally he could make out the flicker of flames against red fabric, and he made sure to avoid those. The smoke was thick, and while his protected eyes were free from the sting, his nostrils and throat were not, and it was not a pleasant sensation. Two of his senses were disabled as such, but his hearing was still crystal clear: he could hear the heavy, metal vault door being opened, and he could hear the incriminating remark of a criminal marveling over his deeds.
Removing his wooden staff from its sheath on his back he sprang from the debris, emerging from the billowing smoke like an eerie specter lunging for its next victim. He planted the pole firmly on the ground before he landed and using the pole to spin around in a 360 motion, planting both feet against the side of the vault door and using the full momentum of his thrown weight to slam the vault door shut once again, producing a startlingly loud clank as it did so. His initial plot was to wait for the criminal to enter the vault before slamming it shut, trapping the criminal inside for the police to handle, but he concluded that the perp may have more explosives or other weaponry to either escape the temporary prison or harm officers when it came time for them to open it.
Landing gracefully back on the ground he raised his staff, assuming a combative stance. "Did you go through proper bank procedures to make such a hefty withdrawal? I thought not." He quipped, rearing back his weapon of choice and then swinging it, intent on sweeping out the criminals legs from under him and sending him to the floor, setting him up to be subdued and bound by the ninja avian.

The Impostor Shadow reacted strongly to his heist being intervened. The fake ninja jolted and gasped when he saw the real ninja. And right there was probably the clearest proof that he was not the real Cold Shadow. His red bandanna had holes cut into the front, two of equal size, so he could see ahead of him. The real Cold Shadow relied on all of his other senses for field work, but this impostor would probably have difficulty tying his own shoes (if he wore shoes at all, that is).
The impostor didn't have much time to stare fearfully at the vigilante; his legs were struck by Cold Shadow's staff and, the next thing the impostor knew, his back was pressed against the floor, and a burning sensation centered on his rump, all because he fell suddenly and harshly onto the floor. He groaned angrily and jumped back onto his feet. He took out his own staff (it wasn't as impressive as Cold Shadow's, let alone as durable), and he raised his arms, ready to strike the ninja.

Outside of the building, Dreamchild stared at the window in which Duck Avenger entered. But her thin, black eyebrows furrowed, and her lips curled in doubt. Duck Avenger fell silent, and she couldn't sense his presence in the building any longer. As she telepathically communicated with Duck Avenger, she bit her lower lip and, without realizing it, rested her free hand on Bongo's shoulder, for comfort. Her other hand still carried Duck Avenger's detached cape.
<<Duck Avenger? Can you hear me? Please say something; I'm worried about you...>>

Duck Avenger, capeless but with the same determination, watched the two ninjas from his hiding spot. Actually, only one of them was the real ninja, and Duck Avenger knew whom. Not the 'ninja' with the eye holes in his red bandanna, was nervous, and was at the scene of a crime, at a bank vault. Duck Avenger hated to admit he was wrong, but there was no denying it. He was wrong. He shuddered and rolled his eyes; he could practically hear Deamchild's voice gloating about being right--
Actually, he did hear Dreamchild's voice! Except she wasn't gloating.
The Avenger's beak tightened as he strained to hold back a cough. He stopped taking glances and fully watched the two ducks in black. He scratched the back of his head with his left hand, as his right hand reached for his gun--the gun he used to (wrongfully) threaten the real Cold Shadow.
<<I'm here, DC. And you were right. The real Cold Shadow didn't bomb this bank; it's an impostor dressed just like him.>> Duck Avenger paused before adding, <<But maybe Cold Shadow is guilty of the treasury-->>

Dreamchild's face instantly changed. What was once the face of worry and doubt changed into relief and, amazingly, pride. She laughed in self-satisfaction as she heard Duck Avenger's words, which had a negative effect: the nearest members of the crowd that had gathered outside of the bank stared at Dreamchild in stunned disbelief. How could she laugh at a time like this?
Dreamchild realized this error, and cleared her throat, awkwardly looking away from them. She continued her mental conversation with her superior.
<<I knew I was right! And don't argue; I think it's safe to assume that this impostor also robbed the treasury. But, wait--where are they?>>

Duck Avenger clenched his eyes shut and gritted his teeth. He slammed his freehand against his face and grumbled. Just as he anticipated, Dreamchild made it known that she was right, and Duck Avenger was wrong. Whatever!
The Avenger replied to Dreamchild one more time before intervening, himself. <<They're right here, and I'm gonna help Cold Shadow. I guess that's how we can redeem.>>
Without wasting another second, the Avenger leaped from behind his hiding place and aimed his gun squarely at the impostor. "Hold it right there, you charlatan!" His eyes narrowed, his gritted teeth were exposed, and his finger was just a muscle twitch away from pulling the trigger of his gun.
"Sorry, Cold Shadow," Duck Avenger muttered very lowly, as if he was ashamed to apologize.
He was.

From the streets below, outside the building, Bongo remained by Dreamchild's side as Duck Avenger had entered the smoke-filled structure alone. Bongo felt the tugging urge to follow the leader of the team inside, but something about the way he shouted orders at Dreamchild hinted at a sense of urgency that suggested he should let him do this alone... besides, he did feel a duty to stay here and keep an eye on Dreamchild.
After a short while, Bongo began to feel just a tad nervous, wondering what had happened to Duck Avenger. His ears drooping low with anxiety, he glanced up to Dreamchild momentarily, only to notice that she had a peculiar facial expression - it was a very focused expression. The same expression she got whenever she telepathically communicated with one of her teammates.
Bongo cocked his head in confusion, wondering what she was saying and to whom - but he assumed it was Duck Avenger. And if that was the case, he felt a little more at ease knowing he was still alive.

He could hear his adversary quickly bounce back up to his feet and draw a weapon, and the ninja mallard took a fighting stance and readied his own weapon to engage the adversary. It was then that he heard a familiar voice: the voice of the Duck Avenger. Given the circumstances he wagered that the other avian hero was issuing his cease and desist command to the perp, and not to him. His guess was validated when he heard the Avenger apologize to him, which came as a relief to the wrongly-accused ninja. Nevertheless, he didn't respond to Duck Avenger's apology at that time, as he had more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. Namely, the matter of who framed him, and why, were still hot issues within his mind. He had heard the criminal mention a 'boss,' suggesting that the false ninja before him was too low on the totem pole to have hatched the idea himself.
He knew he didn't have much time before his fellow officers from the ECPD arrived. As a matter of fact he could hear the blaring sirens of their squad cars rapidly approaching. "Who are you working for?" He asked in his deeper, masked, intimidating voice to the pseudo Cold Shadow. While his eyes couldn't be seen beneath the mask, his brow furrowed and his grip on his staff tightened.

The impostor had succeeded in pinning the blame on the real Cold Shadow for a day, bombing this bank, and he was very close to obtaining the vault's money. But the impostor did not expect the surprising intervention of not one, but two ducks in goofy costumes. (Of course, the impostor was one such duck in a mock Cold Shadow costume.) The impostor gripped his own staff, flimsy and insufficient for combating with Cold Shadow as it was, and frightfully exchanged glances between Cold Shadow and Duck Avenger. The impostor's teeth clattered, and his legs practically wobbled out of fear, along with the staff he gripped.
"I-I'm not telling you anything!" he shouted, primarily at Cold Shadow. He tried to sound tough, but he failed miserably.

Duck Avenger stared at the fake ninja with a superior, condescending look in his eyes. This was pathetic! The guy was cornered by the real Cold Shadow and--more importantly--Duck Avenger, and this bozo was still trying to hold back crucial information? Duck Avenger had a long night of mistake identities, sudden explosions, and other annoyances. Enough was enough; the Avenger was annoyed. He said nothing in response to the impostor's negation. Instead, he noisily charged his gun, a sound that was intimidating. Duck Avenger's plan was to hopefully intimidate the impostor into spilling the beans. He could've fired the gun, sure, but he wanted to hear the impostor give the name of the real villain of this plot first.

The impostor wasn't talking, which Cold Shadow was a tad impressed with. Given even what little exposure he'd had to the hoodlum thus far he'd have expected him to fold like a deck of cards in the face of two masked, and more importantly, armed, vigilantes. But the man's weakness still managed to shine through in his pathetic, stuttered response.
Much like Duck Avenger, Cold Shadow was also all too aware that the man would most assuredly break with just a bit more pressure. His grip over his wooden staff tightening, he began to rear it back into a position that made it appear that he was about to clobber the goon. "Well, if you're not going to talk then I see no reason why you should remain conscious until the police come to collect you." He said in a cold, heartless tone that he trusted would intimidate the scum.

Any ounce of courage, willpower, and loyalty the impostor harbored for his employer was gone. At the sound of Duck Avenger's gun, and--even worse!--Cold Shadow's threat and stance, the impostor ripped off his mask, dropped his staff, and dropped on his knees to the floor. His fingers locked together, his eyes clenched shut, and his voice quivered even worse than his body.
"T-the Ph-Phantom B-blot!! It was the Blot!! He hired me, he's behind all o'this! He's h-hiding in the abandoned storage down at the wharf, No. A113!" His voice shook as he resorted to the last refuge of a scoundrel, begging for mercy. "P-p-please don't hurt me!! I told you everything!!"
The Phantom Blot was a master thief, whose calling card was a white card with a splash of ink (or a 'blot') on it.

Cold Shadow's face turned sour. So, the Phantom Blot was behind all of this. It made sense to the ninja that the master thief would hold a grudge against him. Shortly after the mysterious ninja, known to most as Cold Shadow, though affectionately known to many criminals as 'that pain in the [nasty word] ninja,' started conducting his own acts of vigilante justice in Epcot City, the Phantom Blot was among the first major criminals he foiled. While he hadn't managed to actually capture the Blot, he had ruined somewhere in the ball park of a half dozen of his planned heists in pursuit of bringing him to justice. Cold Shadow's encounters with the Blot, in fact, began even before the Dream League made their debut.
"Thank you. See, that wasn't so difficult, now was it?" Cold Shadow responded to the cowering criminal before pulling back his wooden staff, which was still poised to strike, and delivering a swift blow to the back of the man's head, knocking him out. The art of knocking someone out, with full knowledge that the blow would not result in serious injury or death, was an art known to the ninja... and also action stars.
Leaving the subdued hood to the mercy of his fellow officers at the ECPD, Cold Shadow jumped up the way he had entered, through the smoking rubble said criminal had produced, as he intended to take it up to the roof. He left without saying a single word to Duck Avenger, though he figured the other duck hero would understand that time was a factor, and that chewing the fat could come another time. And even if he didn't understand, Cold Shadow wouldn't lose any sleep over it. After all, he still wasn't too keen on the Dream League.
Maui Mallard, old boy. After this you could use a real vacation, he thought to himself (or, at least, he assumed only he could hear it, since he thought it in his own mind) as he made his way to the roof, as intended. The last 'vacation' he had taken hadn't gone too smoothly. In fact, it required the aid of both Maui Mallard and his alter ego, Cold Shadow. But it wouldn't do him any good to dwell on that now; he had an appointment to keep at the 'abandoned storage down at the wharf, No. A113.'

Duck Avenger's eyes widened curiously. "The Phantom Blot?" he asked. He continued to aim his gun at the impostor, but he cocked his head left and scrunched his brows. "Isn't he--" But the Avenger had no time to finish. Cold Shadow made a witty comment before knocking the hired crook into dreamland. Of course, the ECPD would take care of him, so Duck Avenger watched as the ninja quickly leave for the roof, without another word.
Duck Avenger holstered his gun and quickly made a note of the wharf, No. A113. He, too, ran for where he came: the window.

Dreamchild had lost contact with Duck Avenger because there were now three presences in the area Duck Avenger was in. At least, it felt like it. Dreamchild opened her mind completely to absorb any loose mental comments she could hear from, intentionally, Duck Avenger, just so she could establish a good link with him once more. Instead, she heard Cold Shadow's mental voice from wherever he may be, and said voice mentioned a specific name: Maui Mallard.
Dreamchild jerked and gasped softly at the completely unexpected voice. And the name, Maui Mallard... was that Cold Shadow's true identity? Maui Mallard? The girl didn't have time to think any longer; Duck Avenger used his grapple to safely reach street level with Dreamchild and Bongo.
"Duck Avenger," said Dreamchild when the duck arrived, "Where's Cold Shadow? I thought he was with you?"

Duck Avenger started talking as soon as his booted feet touched the pavement. "Cold Shadow is after the real culprit, the Phantom Blot! The Blot's in the wharf, in No. A113. Let's go! Cold Shadow's probably gonna need backup." Without saying another word to either Dreamchild or Bongo, he turned and ran for Epcot City's wharf. Determination filled his face as he ran.

Dreamchild reached for Duck Avenger as if she could stop him, and called after him. "Wait! Please wa--" She grunted and stamped her right foot in annoyance. There was no reasoning with him! Dreamchild shrugged helplessly, and she looked down to Bongo. "Come on, Bongo! There's no time to waste!"
She started running after Duck Avenger, following him to the wharf.

Bongo immediately noticed Duck Avenger as soon as he had exited the building in his own flashy manner, and smiled widely, happy to see that he was unscathed. The smile quickly dissipated from his muzzle, however, once he noticed the seriousness in the duck's eyes, and heard what he had to say the moment his webbed feet touched the concrete. Bongo lifted his eyebrows in surprise - he knew it, Cold Shadow was innocent! He lowered one of his eyebrows at the second name, however. The Phantom Blot...? Sure sounded ominous. A villain, for certain.
With that, Duck Avenger bolted off, clearly expecting the others to follow. He looked up at Dreamchild as she urged him to get moving, and nodded with a diligent, determined face. Whipping out that portable unicycle of his, he hopped onto its seat and wheeled away, keeping pace with his two comrades.

*** The Epcot City wharf. Epcot City, being a commercially large hub, had several dockyards here and there. As newer areas and improvements were given to some areas, others were all but forgotten, and left to the elements. Storage Bay No. A113 was such a location. Maui was familiar with the area, as criminals were known to hide in shady, abandoned dumps like these. Most commonly they were petty drug dealers and smugglers, not big-game like the Phantom Blot. Hiding in the open. Smooth, Blot, the stealthy waterfowl thought to himself as he peered at the building from the safety of a barricade of wooden crates. The number above the warehouse door, A113, was so weathered that it was only somewhat legible. Around the building were discarded shipping containers, their paint peeling and rusted by a combination of the ocean air and years of neglect. Darting from shadow to shadow, he made his way to the building. Keeping out of sight, he began to investigate for a means of entering silently and unseen.

Inside the wharf, the Phantom Blot waited at a wooden table that had seen better days. In fact, the chair he sat on was barely stable. The Phantom Blot disliked using furniture that was fitting for the middle class and below, but he had to remain in this wharf until his pawn returned with the money. The duck he hired to impersonate Cold Shadow was as a spineless coward, so the Blot wasn't concerned that he would be double crossed, and even if he were double crossed, he would find an appropriate method of revenge.
The Blot sat with his black gloved hands on his knees, the knees that were under a large black cloak. "Where is that simpleton?" the Blot asked himself impatiently. His voice was eloquent and articulate, yet undeniably cruel and amoral in nature. His pure white eyes (like Dreamchild's, but more vertical and thinner) narrowed, even though he wasn't staring at anything in particular. "He should be here by now! This is the last time I hire a second-rate actor from a community theatre!"
The main door to Storage Bay No. A113 was locked. However, there was a row of large (mostly broken) windows in the back, and, as luck would have it, there were stacks of boxes pressed against the wall, below the windows. The boxes didn't reach all the way to the windows, so some ingenuity would have to be utilized to enter through there.

Duck Avenger entered the wharf before Dreamchild and Bongo. He wanted to get to No. A113 quickly, but he avoided being reckless; he slowed his booted feet to a creep the closer he came to the targeted building. He didn't want to startle the Phantom Blot, or whoever was hiding in the building. The Avenger stopped behind a cluster of empty crates. He would hide behind the crates until he was confident with an idea. As he thought, he looked back when he heard Dreamchild and Bongo's arrival.

Dreamchild was faster than Duck Avenger, but she didn't know the way. She ran slower than her top speed, so she could follow the Avenger to the Blot's alleged hideout. The Dream Come True stopped when she saw Duck Avenger sneak to a crate ahead. She knew why he did this: he didn't want to make any noises to alarm the criminal. She levitated an inch, so her feet didn't touch the wooden floor. She hovered to before Duck Avenger and communicated with her superior through telepathy.
<<Do you suppose the Blot is in there?>> Dreamchild pointed to the building ahead of them. The building, as well as its sign, was decrepit; the sign was almost difficult to read, but it was definitely the number Duck Avenger said.

The last of the trio to arrive on the scene was Bongo. He had foregone his unicycle for his own paws to remain as quiet as possible, laying low and creeping on all fours towards the two with his belly to the ground. The bear was cautious in his crawling steps - he didn't have the advantage of levitation that Dreamchild did.
Once behind the crate with the others, he peered his furry head out from behind the box to get a look at... wherever it is they were headed. Bongo wasn't exactly sure - he was just following DA's lead. The important thing was that they were on the trail of a criminal, the Phantom Blot.

Cold Shadow didn't need to investigate long before he concluded that the Phantom Blot was, in fact, inside of the warehouse. As the stealthy vigilante crouched in the shadows of a stack of crates outside of a broken window he could hear the robed villain speaking (seemingly to himself). Ah, talking to one's self. If it weren't for the abundance of villains who insisted on performing the odd habit, a blindfolded crime fighter such as Cold Shadow wouldn't be as practical. Regardless, it was a voice he had heard many times before. There was no mistaking the identity of its owner.
The black-clad water fowl was so distracted by the notion of finally apprehending this villain, whom had become something of his arch nemesis, that he almost didn't notice the approach of someone else. Getting distracted was oftentimes an issue for both Maui and Cold Shadow alike, but thankfully his blindfold helped alleviate his tunnel-vision-syndrome to an extent. As he expected, the interloper was a member of the Dream League. He anticipated they would show up, even though he was put-off by the idea. He hated working with others, and he wasn't too keen on the Dream League, on top of that.
Silently hopping from his shadowy perch atop the crates he snuck up behind the other masked duck. With a quick, startling movement he linked his left hand over the other duck's neck, clasping his beak shut with his hand to prevent him from crying out. He then stuck his own bill closer to Duck Avenger's line of sight so that the masked vigilante would be able to see him as he raised his right index finger to his own bill, performing the seemingly universal gesture that told others that they needed to be quiet. Cold Shadow did not, however, make a 'shh' sound, as he remained silent as the grave.
Confident that his point had been made, he quickly released the other duck and, in the blink of an eye, hopped back atop the crates, crouching in the shadows. He pointed his finger toward the warehouse, thrusting it a couple of times, to indicate that someone was in there.

Duck Avenger, satisfied when he saw Dreamchild and Bongo arrive, looked back to the warehouse. He stared at the hideout, his face bold and courageous. His eyelids covered half of his eyes as he thought, mentally responding to the English hero.
<<Yeah, I think so. But I don't see Cold Shadow anywhere. Where is--HEY!!>>
Duck Avenger was lucky to not make a sound when he was grabbed and held in place by the ninja. He hated it. He hated how Cold Shadow sneaked in on him like... well, a ninja! The framed vigilante made the shushing gesture, and Duck Avenger nodded begrudgingly, his eyes narrowed in annoyance. He watched as the ninja hopped on the crates and pointed to the warehouse. No doubt about it this was place. He folded his arms on his chest and stared at the warehouse, thinking of what to do.
