Real Name: Gyro Gearloose
Alias: Sometimes Gadgetman, though he strongly dislikes being referred to by that name.
Age: Somewhere in his 40's; unknown for certain
Species: Anthropomorphic Disney Chicken
Sex: Male
Nationality: American
Alignment: Good
Affiliated With: The Dream League
Status: Active
Physical Description (Body structure, eye color, hair color, etc.): Gyro's height is comparable to an average human man's: under six feet, but still considerably taller than Ducks and many other anthropomorphic animals. White feathers. Very lithe and slim, except for a small pot belly. Not much muscle in his arms and legs. Red hair. Orange-yellow beak and a pink, triangular tongue.
Appearance: A small, oval, yellow hat with a black band, and yellow straps attached to the hat that keep the hat affixed on the top of his head. His hat resembles a boater. The shirt he wears the most often is a magenta shirt with the ends of the sleeves rolled back once, and black sleeve bands. There is a single gold button on his shirt, just under his neck and on his chest. He wears a black vest that doesn't connect. He also wears denim jeans and brown shoes. He also wears very tiny glasses that are balanced on the top of his beak.
Abilities and Powers: Gyro can create intricate, complex machines and inventions with surprising speed, and in a short amount of time. His inventions range from simple to spectacular, including sentient robots (such as Little Helper), to time machines.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, not all of his inventions work according to plan. Though he has invented many successful devices and apparatuses, he has also created many failures. Sometimes his inventions will explode or malfunction, creating immediate problems for the Dream League. Also, Gyro is mortal and not superpowered. He's not even a trained fighter, and works almost exclusively off the battlefield.
Accessories: Little Helper, his invention. Little Helper has steel body, tiny white gloves, and a light bulb for a head. Little Helper is sentient (though cannot speak), and was created by Gyro for assistance in the workshop.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation): Gyro Gearloose was born to inventor and Duckburg resident, Fulton Gearloose. Gyro was a chip off the old block; he lived in Duckburg, and became an inventor. He even took over his father's workshop after Fulton retired. Even after his father's death, Gyro continued to invent.
Gyro is a longtime friend and supporter of Donald Duck and, especially, Scrooge McDuck. Even if his creations eventually go awry, he has assisted the ducks for years. The Dream League's founding members invited Gyro to serve as mechanic, technician, and inventor. Gyro, who was fed up with the crime and corruption of Epcot City, and always one with a desire to use his intelligence and creations for good, accepted the offer. He relocated his workshop (literally!) to outside the Overlook Mansion.
Gyro's personality is a kind and polite one. He is genteel and always willing to help his friends with inventions, even if they don't always work successfully. He's usually sweet, but he can be easily annoyed and discouraged when condescendingly referred to as Gadgetman, an alias he cannot stand.
Gyro Gearloose is currently the only member of the Dream League who knows the secret identities of both Duck Avenger and the Masked Mallard. He has assisted both crime-fighters with gadgets and devices.
