*Sunset in St. Canard...it had been a excruciatingly hot one in the city, typical for a summer day, and as the sun set down, it had remained pretty warm. Darkwing stood inside his tower on top of Audobon Bay Bridge, looking over the city with a large telescope. He spoke to himself, narrating his actions, as he often did.*
And so, the caped crime fighter capriciously capers about, searching for the menacing menagerie of malicious marauders that marr the city with their very presence, Darkwing Duck remains ever vigilant to...to...oh, who am I kidding?! It's too hot to even think of monologue right now!
*He sighs, fanning himself a bit. The costume likely added on heat to such a day...the mallard steps away from his periscope, over to the fridge.*
I suppose a quick break from crimefighting is in order, at least to cool off some.
*He took a pitcher of iced tea out of his fridge, and shut the door. Suddenly, the fridge sprung upwards, flying into the air...and landing right on top of Darkwing. After a few moments, he popped out, generally unscathed, though a bit bent out of shape in a few places, namely his hat and bill.*
Th-that was strange...heh, usually only does it when I forget the milk. Though...it IS an old fridge.

Darkwing Duck had a surprise visitor: it was Sunshine from the Dream League. She flew from Epcot City to St. Canard just to fly into the Audubon Bay Bridge, with the intention to speak to the Terror that Flaps in the Night. Sunshine flew in through a window, and landed gracefully on the floor. She saw Darkwing, who seemed to have a problem with his hat and bill. Fearing that she came in at a bad time, she spoke politely.
"Hello, Darkwing Duck. Have I come at a bad time?"
Even though Calisota was suffering from a major heatwave, Sunshine didn't have a drop of perspiration on her brow, even while in her costume.

* He turns his attention to the voice, at first a little startled, which proved...more people knowing about this tower, was going to have to get some taking used to. Realizing who it was, he shook his head, the bent parts of his and bill straightening out.*
Oh no; Nonono, heh...was just having, um...appliance troubles, I guess you could say. So what brings you all the way out here and...and...
*He glances the young superheroine over once, blinking a bit...it was into the triple digits...yet the teen didn't appear to be affected by *
Um...if you don't mind my asking, how are you doing that? The whole not...sweating thing?

The Ray of Hope was sorry to hear about the Duck Knight's appliance problems, but she was relieved that his troubles weren't serious. She then raised a single eyebrow (her right) in confusion when the tower's resident obviously thoroughly examined her from where he stood. But when he asked her why she didn't sweat, she realized why he gave her a look over. She smiled in minor embarrassment.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I absorb solar energy." She brought up her slender right hand and shot a very tiny spark of Sunray. The spark wasn't damaging at all, and she only did this to demonstrate. "Like that. The sun doesn't bother me at all, really. In fact, I love it." She smiled warmly to Darkwing Duck, as she locked her hands together and placed them behind her back.
"I came to visit you. Now that we're in the team together, I'd like to get to know you a little better. If you don't mind! You can get to know me better, too."
For a superheroine who could lift a city bus over her head, she was as gentle and delicate as a rose.
