The jungle seemed peaceful and quiet, hardly a sound was heard beside the faint song of small birds hiding in bushes and treetops, avoiding the burning heat of the sun.
One particular bird was resting on a thick branch hanging over the pathway, fiddling with a yo yo in a bored manner. Relaxation was nothing for the hyper, fun loving Aracuan bird, at least not more than a few minutes at the time. He got bored very easily.. and man was he bored right now!
That was, until a sound nearby pricked his interest.
In hyper glee the feathery jester leapt up on his feet, and ran, more than climbed, down the tree.

(Long-dead account, I revive thee!)
It might come as a surprise that, just a few trees away, resting in a giant banyan, lay Kaa, the great python (so he calls himself, at least), as he enjoyed his daily noon-time nap. A lazy grin was on his scaly snout, his forked tongue slipping in and out with each breath, and his immense body was wrapped over and laid out on the tree as if he had tried to catch as much soothing sunlight during his nap as possible.
Kaa's own little paradise soon came to a sudden halt; a strange new noise echoed into his invisible ears, urging him to awaken. Reluctantly, he obliged... it was about time for his nap to be over with, anyway, and he was pretty hungry (when was he not?). The serpent raised his head with a yawn and smacked his dry lips, before glancing around at his surroundings for anything new. What would he experience today? Hopefully not another man cub, he thought...
He then remembered the odd voice that woke him up in the first place, and it was still going on and on... and then, Kaa saw a red, feathered little blur zip through the jungle, singing that incredibly annoying song. However, Kaa managed to ignore the bird's obnoxious voice... his number-one priority, right now, was food, and this little bird was unlucky enough to come into the sights of the hungry python.
It was perfect, Kaa thought. He'd catch the little bird as a snack, and put a stop to that awful singing as well; two birds with one stone! "Hmhm, birds..." Kaa quietly giggled to himself at the pun he just thought of, before beginning the first step of catching his prey: stalking. His head slinkily moved down the huge tree, followed by his seemingly never-ending body.

(YAY *Glomps Kaa ;D )
The energetic bird continued his search for something interesting, entertaining himself with his own little song for now.
He paused momentarily to study a colorful bug crawling on a flower, but the bug couldn`t hold his interest forever. Not even for long.
Making small squeaking noises, Aracuan looked around to see if he could spot anything else interesting.
There had to be someone he could prank or a game to play somewhere.. He had yet to discover the large snake nearby.
