(OOC: This thread takes place in a time when Alice is her normal age, and not cursed!)
A strong gust of wind rushes through the treetops of the Sherwood forest- a few of the less skiddish animals moving to the very tips of branches to sniff or look in the air. There was something odd about the wind- not odd in the sense that it was frightning. Only odd in the sense that things like this did not happen very often.
Such as the human woman gliding gracefully into a clearing on a large black bumbershoot.
Mary Poppins landed with a gentle thud- quickly shutting her umbrella and pulling out a small mirror to adjust her slightly blown about hair. Snapping the mirror shut with resolve the pretty nanny glanced about.
"Well, I suppose it would do best to get this over with as soon as possible." she marched through the woods.

In his cottage, Merlin was seated with Arthur and Alice. "All right. Alice, please read the the part of Gonzalo." He clutched his chair's armrests, eagerly anticipating to educate.

Alice smiled and nodded to the wizard. "Yes, sir." She focused on the large book that rested before her and recited aloud: I have great comfort from this fellow: methinks he hath no drowning mark upon him; his complexion is perfect gallows. Stand fast, good Fate, to his hanging: make the rope of his destiny our cable, for our own doth little advantage. If he be not born to be hanged, our case is miserable.
She read The Tempest by William Shakespeare.
When she finished, she looked to the Wart. "Arthur, would you care to continue?"
