<Before you ask: I have no idea how a lion from the Pride lands can get to Neverland, either. But hey, that's Disney magic for you. > Kiara slowly walked towards the woods, careful not to attract any suspicious characters that might be in the area. She had never been to Neverland before, but she had heard it was full of adventure so- being the fun loving girl she was- she had to come. She quickly avoided the pirate’s cove when she learned the story of Captain Hook, though. Adventure may be what she wanted, but trouble was not. She didn’t know what could pop out of the trees at any moment, but she hoped who- or whatever- it was would be friendly and like to have a little fun. After wandering in the woods for awhile, Kiara started to lose track of where she was. She wasn’t used to all of the trees- they all looked the same to her. So she wandered aimlessly for awhile thinking it was no big deal- she’d find her way back eventually. For now, she was just glad to actually be in Neverland. The place was amazing to her; it had so much character. I can easily find fun here, she thought.

(OOC: That happens a lot here. ) Meanwhile, the constant ticking of an alarm clock gradually increased in loudness as something large approached the beach nearest to Kiara (though she probably wouldn't have been able to hear it, unless she was relatively close). It was Never Land's own crocodile. He rose to the water's surface, his orange eyes the first to stick out into open air. He was fully exposed when he approached the beach, and at a steady pace he crawled on the sand. Not far, though; he rested himself in a spot where the water could slosh up and down over his back. It was nap time; the hunt for Hook would have to wait, but he didn't mind. He could always wait. The alarm clock in his gut still ticking, the crocodile rested his head on top of his front legs, closed his eyes and commenced bathing in the sun.

As Kiara continued to wander along the shore, she heard a soft ticking noise. Curious, she walked forward; the noise seemed to grow louder as she did. She looked all around her, but couldn’t seem to find the source of the strange noise. It sounds like an alarm clock, she thought. But why would there be an alarm clock on the shore?
Puzzled, Kiara continued to search for the ticking noise. She wandered along the endless shoreline, turning back around when it got quieter, but she just couldn’t find the source of the noise. All she could see was the water, and the woods behind her. Certainly nothing that could make such a noise…
“This place is very strange…” She said to herself.

The crocodile, now asleep, began to noisily breathe slowly and heavily, while the clock continued to tick, as it always had.
It wasn't long before he had a happy dream; a dream about catching up with Captain Hook. In the dream he swam after the pirate with great speed. This dream was reflected in reality; the crocodile was 'swimming' in place on the sand, spraying sand around him with medium velocity.

Kiara turned around to see sand spraying everywhere along the shore. Confused she just stood there for a moment, wondering what was going on. After staring at it for a little bit, though, she decided it might be fun. So she slowly approached the flying sand to get a better look. Sand flew in every direction possible, though it seemed most of it was flying in her direction. Dodging back and forth to avoid being hit, she made her way closer and closer. When she was able to see clearly what was happening though, she was shocked. It was a crocodile! That was ticking, like a clock!
Startled she let out a little scream, and backed away from the creature. Hoping that if it had woken up from hearing her scream, it wouldn’t try and eat her. And I thought Captain Hook was all I had to worry about, she thought.

The crocodile indeed heard the scream. He stopped dreaming and fluttered his eyelids open. His orange eyes appeared very glossy, and in his grogginess the crocodile casually stared at Kiara for a long, awkward period of silence, and then... yawned widely, rested himself once more, and fell back asleep.
Either he was very tired, or he was uninterested in devouring her. Perhaps it was both.

Thankful for the crocodile’s decision to not eat her, Kiara slowly backed away towards the woods. Thinking to herself that coming to this ‘Neverland’ place, maybe wasn’t the best idea after all. The only things she had accomplished so far were getting her self lost, and nearly attacked. This world just wasn’t for her.
As Kiara wandered through the trees she longed to be back home again, in the Pride Lands. To sit under the warm sun, and watch all of the animals go about their day.
Well, she thought. I guess I could just go back home… It has to be better than this. So much for adventure, she sighed.
Walking back to where she entered Neverland, Kiara suddenly stopped frozen in her place. She had forgotten how to get back. All of the searching for the strange ticking crocodile had made her lose track of where she was. Great, Now I’m stuck here, she thought. She would never be able to find her way back now. All of the trees and plants looked exactly alike to her.
Desperate to find her way back Kiara shouted out, “Can anyone help me?”

(have a pretty pixie~)
Tinkerbell had been flying lazily through the forest, avoiding eagles and owls and other manner of creatures that would find a tiny bit like her a delightful snack.
The Lost Boys had been too noisy again, and despite herself- Tinkerbell needed a little bit of peace. The woods had provided that, until she had heard the strange scream. A normal sized person could easily over come the emotions of curiosity that filled her- but you see...Pixies are so awfully small that any emotion they feel takes priority.
So, without a second thought, or glance or even breath, the tinker fae fluttered through the trees until she came upon the...giant cat? She followed the feline, tinkling softly as she smugly smirked at the she-lion.
Tinkerbell fluttered directly in front of the lioness, nodding. Yes, she could help- but would you trust a stranger?
