Name: Mirage
Alias: ' Evil Incarnate'
Age: Unknown; presumed ageless, otherwise...centuries, lol.
Is From: Aladdin, the animated series
Species: Anthropomorphic demonic feline
Height: Somewhere in the neighborhood of five feet six-eight inches.
Weight: Eh, I'd guess anywhere from 125-135 pounds, maybe a little on the lighter side since her figure is so wispy.
Gender: Female
Likes:
- Evil and chaos
- Breaking people’s will and spirit
- Triumphing over ‘petty’ forces
- Destroying people and cities
- Her seemingly endless magical resources
- Having things go her way
- Fear; and striking it into the hearts of others
- Winning any and all challenges, of course
- Tragic endings
Dislikes:
- Love, compassion, and hope
- Aladdin and friends; she hates them all, quite frankly
- Being tricked
- Being defeated in any way
- People becoming hopeful and idiotically heroic.
- Agrabah. She REALLY hates the entire place.
- People who have too much good going for them
- Good and nice things in general
Normal Attire: She commonly wears a long, flowing two-piece red dress trimmed with gold, arguably Egyptian-styled jewelry, and also wears a golden 'crown' of sorts atop her head with a serpent on it. It's also possible her 'hair' is merely an Egyptian wig connected to said headpiece.
Powers:
Everything she does is through magic, and it’s the fact she can use her magic in so many ways that makes her a deadly adversary. Though she can do a ridiculous amount of things, she normally calls upon the same set of skills when it comes to battle. Mirage will swipe her claws in the air and from that simple gesture, magical swipes will follow- able to slice and cause a decent amount of pain. She also has various minions she likes to call upon- a set of firecats who feed on fear, and a group of ‘monsters’- though they can only be used for 3 nights every 7 years.
Though she appears to be capable of holding her own, Mirage prefers to create illusions and nightmares, turn somebody into a monster, or use her magic to otherwise influence a course of action meant to cause a hero to destroy themselves or have their will and spirit crushed by her evil.
She watches over every creature she victimizes and can’t help but pop in to gloat, or simply manifest her voice in order to do that. She’ll often shapeshift/use illusion to appear as a friendly stranger, actual friend, or loved one of the heroes she torments- and try to destroy them by gaining their trust.
Strengths:
-Mirage has existed for quite a while, and will continue to. This longevity makes her a deadly adversary, capable of tormenting somebody through the ages until they finally give in to exhaustion.
-She has a lot of magical ability which, as said before, she can use in a LOT of ways.
-She is inhuman, so certain weaknesses that apply to mortal men and women do not effect her.
-Her lair is in a separate realm, so she can hide herself and make herself inaccessible quite well.
-She has a crystal ball with which she can spy on anybody she pleases
-Manipulative and opportunistic. Though she's self-centered and a loner most of the time, she can and will use other people to her advantage. And she knows how to poke and prod at those with the seeds of evil and doubt in their hearts quite well.
Weaknesses:
- Lack of a real motive.
- Arrogant
- Greatly underestimates her enemy
- Easily lulled into a sense of great accomplishment and overconfidence.
- Able to be fooled, sometimes easily
- Unable to fathom how certain characters can defeat her, thus able to be stunned and thrown for a loop
- Lack of allies and friends
- Most of her plans seem to focus on manipulating others and/or breaking their will- and she always seems to lose the same way. Mirage is always making the same mistakes, believing she can crush the spirits of those who have proven her wrong countless times. Making those mistakes over and over again is a flaw that always leads to her defeat.
Allied with: Herself, and the forces of chaos and destruction.
Mortal Enemy: Aladdin and his friends.
History:
(Eh, I was gonna post the huge ramblefest I used for her over on fant! But I wasn't sure if that would be appreciated here, since it was me running and making things up...so lol this crap instead. If you'd prefer I post that long, more-detailed one, just say the word. I know this is short and...blah.)
Over the countless years, Mirage has made it a habit to terrorize humanity- especially those who have too much going for them, or who are doing nice things for others. Because of what she feels was taken from her, she does not want anybody to be happy for long- ESPECIALLY a human.
At one point, Mirage was acquainted with the force of justice known as Aladdin. Ever since Aladdin ruined a scheme of hers to crush the spirits of poor villagers, she has consistently tried to destroy the prince and his friends, crush their spirits, and even on one occasion attempted to tear a rift between Jasmine and Aladdin. ( To prove how weak a force love was, for herself more than anybody else.)
However, she has always been defeated. Aladdin and his genie managed to defeat her on their first encounter, and no matter how hard she tried each and every time following that- Mirage simply has failed in her attempts to bring Agrabah to its knees. She also has failed to teach Aladdin to fear her, as she promised him. The vindictive creature she is, Mirage is constantly looking for ways to claim revenge on the heroes of Agrabah, wanting to kill Aladdin and his friends or crush their spirits for good. She is determined to prove her superiority.
But, Mirage always has time to ruin the lives of other happy people- and she's always looking for the chance. One success among many failures puts her in a far better mood, after all.
