Peter flew through the sky lazily, swaying side to side without a set course. He had searched the whole city for kids but his expedition results were not promising. Pan was frustrated and so bored.
I shouldn't've kept looking, I should have left and got back to Neverland, but now the sun's up and I have to stay around here all day and what for the stars to come back...
As he soared through the sky he found a children's park. Which included a slide, swings, monkey bars, and a climbable turtle, all resting on a bed of small rocks.
Peter slowed and perched silently on the top of the monkey bars, the shiny, blue paint reflecting the sun's brilliant rays. He lowered himself onto the metal and laid across it like a bed, letting one of his legs dangle through a gap in the bars.
He gazed into the sky, watching the clouds roll around in the vast blue sky. Pan let his mind wander, he sighed contently, but a hint of anger tainted it.
Where did the stars go anyway? They must follow the moon...or maybe they need sleep too?
Peter's eyelids grew heavy as he continued to ask himself unanswerable questions. He slowly shut his eyes.
They just need to rest...only a little rest..for my...eyes.....
