Tony[/u]
Name: Tony.
Age: Unknown. He’s most likely somewhere in his forties… maybe even fifties.
Species: Human.
Gender: Male.
Nationality: Italian-American.
Alignment: Good.
Attire: A pink shirt with black lacings, a turquoise vest, blue pants, a white apron (while working), and black shoes. He also appears to wear purple socks.
Abilities: Proprietor of Tony’s Restaurant; accomplished chef of Italian cuisine; skilled accordion player.
Accessories: His apron and anything in his pockets.
Constant Companion: Joe (read below).
Mortal Enemy: Those who detest Italian cuisine.
Character Information: Tony is an American of Italian descent. He speaks fluent English, though with a heavy Italian accent. He is a large man, both tall and wide. He’s bald on top but has a thick mustache. But despite his intimidating looks, Tony actually has a heart of gold. He loves his job, and he loves seeing happy customers… especially if he helps bind aspiring lovers together. Along with Joe, a mandolin player and singer, Tony is musically inclined; he can play the accordion, as well as sing.
He also seems to be a lover of animals, especially dogs.
Voice Actor: George Givot.
Most Likely to Say: “Hey, Joe!”
Least Likely to Say: “It’s-a me, Mario!”
Tony's in daylight.
Joe[/u]
Name: Joe.
Age: Unknown. He, too, is probably somewhere in his forties… maybe even fifties.
Species: Human.
Gender: Male.
Nationality: Italian-American.
Alignment: Good.
Attire: A four-buttoned chef’s shirt and hat, white scarf, apron, green pants and brown shoes.
Abilities: Being Tony’s assistant chef, Joe is a professional cook. Though Tony’s Restaurant is small and not much to look at, Joe makes the self-admitted “best-a spaghetti in town” that make customers return… even dogs.
Accessories: His apron and cooking utensils.
Constant Companion: Tony (above).
Mortal Enemy: Those who detest Italian cuisine.
Character Information: Joe is thinner and shorter than Tony, but his heart is just as big. He is similar to Tony in numerous aspects: he, too, loves his job; he’s an Italian-American; he speaks with a thick Italian accent; and has mustache (however, Joe’s mustache looks more like Groucho Marks’s). Though there’s mild tension between Joe and Tony on occasion, they seem to be very close, and even share an interest in music; while Tony plays the accordion, Joe plays the mandolin.
He, too, seems to be a lover of animals, particularly dogs.
Voice Actor: Bill Thompson.
Most Likely to Say: “OK, Tony. OK.”
Least Likely to Say: [whistling the Luigi’s Mansion theme]
Tony's in night.
Tony and Joe prepared and served a meal to remember in Walt Disney's “Lady and the Tramp” (1955). I forgot if they appeared in the film’s disastrous sequel, as my mind is trying to repress that memory.
