Sunshine lived in the Overlook Mansion, in a room that was actually designed to act as a double. However, Sunshine was without a roommate for a while after she joined the team, and moved into the mansion.
One day, her door was propped open, so anyone could enter if they wished. It was a slow day in Epcot, and so the Ray of Hope passed the time by sitting at her favorite possession in the room: a large harp. She had saved a music store owner's life, and he gave her a used yet fine harp as a gift. Though she acted modest, the owner insisted, and so she accepted the token of gratitude. The harp was now in her room, and, as chance would have it, Aurora was a professional harpist back in Eyvindria.
She gently plucked the harp strings, careful and flawless in performance. The melody she chose was an old Eyvindrian love ballad, so it was very likely that no one else in the Overlook was familiar with it. She sang, too, and it was hard to determine which was more beautiful: the voice or the harp-playing. Her soprano voice was pitch-perfect. It was fortunate that Eyvindrian's spoke English, so everyone could have appreciated Sunshine's music.
Her eyes were closed as she sang the latter half of the song. Her lips smiled warmly as she made sweet, passionate music.

A small purple-clad mouse flew slowly through the many corridors of The Overlook, trying to orient herself without getting lost. Everything was so new to her, including membership in a super team.
Mechnician wasn't absolutely sure where she was supposed to stow her gear, and there didn't seem to be anybody around to ask just now. So, with her duffel bag slung over one shoulder and her tool box in the other hand, the brainy rodent just sort of wandered until she heard music coming from somewhere.
Following the sound, Gadget rounded a corner and spotted a blonde human playing the harp. "I remember--you're Sunshine, right?" Too late, she realized what a mistake that was. "Oops. I shouldn't interrupt you while you're playing. It must be tough to play with people talking."

Sunshine abruptly stopped playing the harp, making a humorous off-key twang noise with the instrument. Her eyelids lifted and she pursed her lips as she looked at the person who addressed her. The voice was sudden and unexpected, but the superhuman was fast to smile warmly at her guest. It was the little female mouse who saved the day alongside the Masked Mallard, and whom the latter recruited to join the team. Sunshine had only known the mouse for a very short amount of time, but she nevertheless treated the Mechnician with a large amount of respect.
"Oh, hello!" she greeted the Mechnician warmly. She nodded, a lock of her hair sliding against her left shoulder as she did. "Yes, my name is Sunshine. And I believe you are the Mechnician." Her eyes crinkled in sincerity, as her smiling lips revealed white teeth. "Thank you for visiting me! It's no bother, really. I can just play again." She giggled feminiely, and took a moment to look at the harp's strings. She positioned herself and began to play an improvised piece. Even when playing something out of whim, Sunshine had grace and a queenly disposition to spare.
When her melody was getting underway, she looked from the strings she plucked and to the mouse, with whom she conversed politely. She could talk and play a tune at the same time, she would prove.
"I see you have your arms full," she said, obviously referring to the toolbox and the duffel bag that the Mechnician carried. "What are you up to?" Whenever Sunshine stopped talking, she rarely stopped smiling.

"I was just moving in. Bringing in my stuff."
Hovering in the middle of the room, Gadget thought how pretty it was. It suited Sunshine, with her perfect hair and face.
"It's so nice of you guys to let me into the League. I really hope I can make a contribution. I just wanted to say that. Again."
It wasn't the first time the little mouse had gushed with thanks to the League members, but she just never felt that she'd expressed her gratitude enough.
"And your headquarters is really teriffic. Do you have any rodent-sized rooms here?" After all, she'd have to sleep somewhere.

Sunshine's eyes remained on the feminine mouse, though she continued to play the harp casually. Her eyes followed Gadget as she hovered through the room, obviously taking a look around. But it was the mouse's humble gratitude that got a facial reaction from Sunshine. The human's eyes and smile exuded warmth. She nodded slightly. "We're so happy that you joined, Mechnician. I know you'll do so much good for Calisota. And I'm happy to make a new friend in you."
The mouse complimented the League's HQ, and then asked if there was a rodent-sized room. Sunshine stopped playing the heart after hearing that question. She looked up for a moment in thought. "Hm... you know, I actually don't know." She looked to the mouse for a short moment of silence, before offering a comforting smile. "I could ask. And if we don't, you're more than welcome to be my roommate until we do have a room built for your size." She gestured to the unoccupied bed. "That bed is too big, yes, but no one else shares this room with me, at the moment. I'm alone."
Though Sunshine would be happy with any answer, she secretly had a desire for a roommate. It could get pretty lonely and boring without someone to talk to.
