Ok, folks and friends, here's the deal. Over the past few months I have been inspirationally bankrupt, and my muse has plummeted when it comes to writing. Call it muse death or writer's block or stress, but no matter what you name the monster, in the end it amounts to: progress has ground to a halt on my site (Nimus Horizons), Which Dreams of Nimus, and here on this board.
Every once in a while I will get a surge of inspiration and get some progress done on one of the three. But it's stretched pretty thin. As it stands, work on Nimus Horizons started back in February, and my desired launch date for the site was back in July (which has long-since come and gone).
Now, to the heart of the matter: Which Dreams of Nimus. This is the most taxing writing project I have going right now, with each chapter taking several hours to complete between typing it out, proof-reading it, and making revisions before the final product you all see is posted here on the forums. I don't mind doing this... if there's actually an interest for it. But the official WDoN discussion topic is dead, despite requesting feedback, with Joe, and Joe alone, having any input on the matter for the last several chapters. Now, I love Joe like a brother, but this is entirely too much effort to write what is looking to be a rather lengthy story if I can count the truly interested readers on one finger.
Ideally I would like Nimus Horizons to launch before the year is out, or January at the latest. If its development time reaches a year, that'd be terribly depressing for me, personally. Narrowing my focus could aid me in accomplishing this, to a degree (though the loss of muse is still a major bummer). If there's no interest in WDoN, then there's little reason for it to continue. If it still has readers, and they are simply remaining quiet on the subject, now's the time to speak up.
