The ban on supers was ended two years ago. While some supers such as The Commander, Jetstream and Metro Man were active during the ban via working for the government, all supers are now able to come out of hiding and resume active hero work.
Also, after the supposed death of Metro City’s defender, Metro Man, someone named Hal Stewart had been endowed with the powers of Metro Man and was thought to take up the position, but turned out to just want power and became a villain. The person who stopped him was the man who was Metro City’s first supervillain, Megamind. Afterwards, Megamind became Metro City’s new defender.

It has been four years since an accident released the Dark Lord Cthulhu upon the world. The hero known as Mintberry Crunch defeated him, but it has left fellow hero Mysterion with many questions in regards to the origin of his power: the inability to die. Mysterion is just about to enter his Freshman year at the superhero school Sky High, hoping that it will be a stepping stone in his journey to discover where he comes from...
Finally, more recently, Will Stronghold, the son of famous supers The Commander and Jetstream, and his friends foiled the supervillain Royal Pain’s plan to de-age all the heroes and raise them as villains. Now, Will, Layla, Warren, Magenta, Zach and Ethan are all about to enter their Sophmore year of Sky High.

'Mundane and Fantastic' is an intermediate level forum RP set in a multi-fandom universe where heroes from many different media.
These fandoms include, but are not limited to:
- The Incredibles
- Megamind
- Sky High
- The Crow
- Doctor Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog
- And many more!
Please note that a lot of these fandoms have needed to be tweaked to some extent in order to fit in with the canon of Mundane and Fantastic, but rest assured that the feel and general canon of each has been kept as intact as possible!
