Hey, guys! I'm gonna post as Tarantula again, but I guess I have a small trace of diffidence about him. L has said that he's her favorite character of mine, so thanks a lot, L. Maybe you could help me again. You see, I wonder if I should make Tarantula truly wicked/evil, or just a big bully who's selfish and breaks the law to get what he wants, but isn't actually malicious. I think this dilemma stemmed from the fact that Pete's role changes drastically between different properties. So, I'd like to ask you: do you prefer the idea of Tarantula being genuinely evil, a selfish bully and nothing more, or somewhere in between? I'd like your honest opinion, please!

Yes, I did say that, and I stand by my statement. Can't help it; I just hear Pete in every line you write for him.
Evil? Or not so evil? That is a tough question.
I think I lean more on the dark side, probably because my favourite Pete roles are truly villainous: Prince & the Pauper, Mickey's Christmas Carol, etc.
Not so keen on the Goof Troop Pete.
Of course, even among villains, some are "badder" than others. I myself have Gilded Lily, a criminal who's not as bloodthirsty as the others in my stable. So if Tarantula was a mere petty criminal, that coould work, too.
Not sure if that wishy-washy answer will do you any good.

While this has come up in a conversation we had last night, I'll apply last night's question to Dream League Pete, specifically.
In terms of the Dream League, I would prefer to see him as a scoundrel and a ruffian as opposed to a full-blown villain. A menace, yes. But not a cutthroat deviant like the more prominent villains. I think that position actually helps Tarantula stand out above the crowd. The same way there are anti-heroes who walk a thin line, Tarantula seems sort of like an anti-villain, and I like that about him.
So I say continue on with the bully antics. That's my input.

Hmm... I kinda like L's idea of making Tarantula a bad guy and a crook, but generally less malicious then some of the heroes' other foes are.
EDIT: Collin worded my suggestion much better.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I'm thinking the same, so now I know the direction. 8)
