So L - to reiterate - Gosalyn doesn't believe she's Dorothy, she's merely sucked into the 'role' (and will undergo Dorothy's adventures and hopefully complete them to shut down the book.
I'll work on a starting post ASAP and if I'm misinterpreting this in anyway, please be sure to let me know. Fire off a PM, what have you.
PS. Does this make Darkwing, Aunty Em? XP (Kidding, kidding...)

"They NEVER come back... without NIGHTMARES!"
But, in all seriousness, Kris must play any and all flying monkeys.

I sort of thought the characters would have imperfect memories of who they were. I want them to have their own personalities, but they must, on some level, believe themselves to be the Oz characters.
I'll use Basil for an example.
I planned his first post to be Justice expressing surprise at finding himself a rodent scarecrow, though he can't quite remember why that's wrong or what he's supposed to be. He knows he wants a brain, because that is needed to drive the story forward and make him go with Gos.
He will use the same speech patterns, handle a magnifying glass and generally behave as much as I can manage like Basil while remaining a scarecrow in Oz.
Does that make any sense? If not, blame Quackerjack.

Oh, your opening post is just perfect! Exactly the mix of Goz and Dorothy I was hoping for!! And I mean that sincerely.

Questopn: do any of the participants need help with the plot of the movie? I could give a synopsis if necessary.
I chose Wizard of Oz because I thought it was universally known, but some of you may not've seen it in years. Some maybe never.

Nah. I haven't seen the film in a long while, but I've seen it enough it times to recall the plot pretty well.
I liked your opening post too, Kris. XD

I think there will be one more post from Quiverwing and then we'll be ready for the Wicked Witch of the West! ^_^
I know Femme's latest post didn't follow the movie exactly, but I was trying to condense some of it so you wouldn't have to wait forever to respond! I hope that's all right.

If my opinion counts for anything, your post was just fine. The plot's progressing exactly as I wanted. Thank you, all. Can't wait for my characters to get into the act.
