Real Name: Rose.
Alias: Formerly Huntsgirl. Will have a new alias in The Dream League - Thorn.
Age: Fourteen.
Species: Human.
Sex: Female.
Nationality: American.
Alignment: Formerly [albeit mis-guided] evil; now good. She’s more of an anti-hero than anything, though.
Affiliated With: The Huntsclan previously; The American Dragon; Hopefully the Dream League in the future?
Status: Active.
Physical Description (Body structure, eye color, hair color, etc.): Rose is considerably pretty - with long blonde hair flowing way past her shoulders, big blue eyes, a nicely shaped face and pink lips. Although only fourteen, she is considerably tall for her age and her build is slender and toned from her time being a Huntsclan member. A maroon birth-mark shaped like a dragon adorns her right hand, with it’s tail winding around down her wrist.
Appearance (Dream League): TBA.
Appearance (Outside of Costume): In order to help disguise herself, Rose has toned down her normally bright every-day clothing, going so far as to “borrow” some of her similar-sized roommate’s clothing. Her hair remains in a long plait and she retains her Huntsclan boots.
For more of a picture, here’s the basic of her outfit: #1 and #2.
Abilities and Powers: Rose hasn’t any powers that could be considered unique. However, she is very well skilled in hand-to-hand combat and many other techniques of combat. She also possesses an amazing knowledge in acrobatics, able to make impossibly long and high leaps, flips and the like. She has skill in weaponry, being trained in archery and in almost all of the Huntsclan’s other armoury, particularly the Huntstaff.
She has a good understanding of magical items and particularly creatures from being in the Huntsclan and through personal interest. She owns two special bracelets that can allow people to travel into their dreams as if it were reality.
Weaknesses: Whilst she is a mature for her age, Rose’s emotions undoubtedly are the start of her downfall. She has a hard time maintaining a façade with people she is close to and finds it difficult to lie to them. She’s also very wary and nervous of those she doesn’t know, particularly now that she’s on the run, and tends to close herself off from people. In a contrast, Rose also cares very much about others, mainly her friends and is easily guilt-tripped into feeling she needs to protect them, which leads her to charge into danger without thinking of the consequences.
Accessories: Rose has kept her Huntstaff with her and has it at all times, even when sleeping, ready for an attack. It has a multitude of options, but the most used ones are blasts of energy, which can be set to either stun or kill an enemy. Since it's her own staff, Rose has programmed it so only those settings will work for her, stopping it from falling into the wrong hands. To anyone else, it is merely an ordinary staff.
She also carries two charm bracelets that can be used to travel into dreams.
Character Information (Personality & Motivation):
Personality - To those who only know Rose, they see a kind, sweet and good-natured girl, who only wants to perform what’s right in her heart, and hates the thought of people getting hurt. Even though she was popular in school, she was still classed as an independent sort of girl, who liked to figure things out on her own. She has a calm, mature attitude for her age, but towards most things she typically acts like a normal teenage girl would be expected to.
But, to those who know Huntsgirl, the alter-ego of her, they see a determined, ruthless and cold person, fiercely loyal to her clan in which she comes from, and wanting to put an end to all magical creatures. She shows almost no remorse to her enemies and always works to the top of her abilities. Her view of the world is narrow, and there is no 'grey area' in her opinion. Either you're an alley, or an enemy.
Despite having been an Apprentice in the Huntsclan, which has a known violent nature, Rose is, particularly now with her new-found knowledge of Jake, hesitant to slay any creatures, magical or not. She secretly yearns for a normal life, and constantly wonders how she might've been, if her parents had survived, or if the mark on her hand never existed.
However, there is always the danger of her two personalities meshing together, despite however much she tries to keep them separate. Put it this way - you don’t want to be on her bad side.
History - Rose was taken away from her parents and twin sister by the Huntsclan, straight after she was born, because she had 'The Mark of the Huntsclan' on her right palm. She was trained in the ways of the Huntsclan, believing that her family died right after she was born and was brainwashed into believing that all magical creatures were evil and must be slayed.
Years later, on Rose's first day of middle school, she bumped into a boy called Jake Long. The two became close, but Rose didn't know that Jake was a dragon; just as Jake didn't know she was Huntsgirl either. Although it was unknown to the two for some time as they went out together, Jake finally found out that Rose was Huntsgirl when the class went skiing together. After a battle with Huntsgirl, he found her Ski Pass in the snow, which only students of the school had. Though reluctant to suspect Rose, he had to confront the truth after seeing that the birthmark on "both" of the girl's hands matched up.
Rose didn't find out about Jake until sometime later. An annual hunt was taking place in the Huntsclan, and Jake, in his dragon form, was captured. Just as Rose was about to slay Jake, he revealed his true self to her. Shocked and confused, the girl let him go, but shortly after transferred schools.
She was taken to a Huntsclan academy, for failing in the hunt, where she continued her training. Although Jake tried to find her, Rose had had a few months to think about the recent turn of events. She was forbidden to leave the academy unless she finally slayed a dragon, something she refused to do. Knowing that it would be a test on her life, Rose still attempted and managed, with help of her honed skills, to escape the Academy, but knew it wouldn’t be long before someone found out.
Having now been on the run for weeks, with luck barely keeping her from being caught, only time will tell where Rose will end up.
