It was a bright and sunny afternoon in the heart of Downtown Toontown. The busy sidewalks were filled with toons of all shapes and sizes, milling about and running errands. A certain toon parrot sat at a corner, red baseball cap turned backwards and a table set before him. The table was covered with a long cloth and on top of it sat three coconut shells. Ze was currently playing a game with some cards though, holding up a Queen of diamonds to a rather enthused costumer.
"Is this be your card, Signor?"
The dog gave a small gasp and nodded, amazed at the show of slight of hand. He gladly gave Ze a few dollars before bustling up. Ze smirked to himself and turned the cards to face him. It was the easiest trick he played. A deck full of Queens and each one marked for his eyes only.
"I am love being back-e in Toonytown." He turned and spotted another mark and began grabbing the ducks attention with a coin trick. OF course the coin wasn't Ze's but no one needed to know that part.

Others might not be wise to what a certain slick parrot was up to but there was a former street rat who had a keen eye for swindlers like Ze. Aladdin visited Toon Town for the odd House of Mouse show and tonight Mickey was hosting a special themed event, making it worth the trip from Agrabah. Throwing a knowing glance to his simian friend Abu – who glanced back with a smug a smug smirk on his furry mug – he wandered casually towards the bird’s table, paying him no mind at all and said to Abu with a sorrowful sigh,
“Gee, Abu. Mickey’s show doesn’t start until tonight. What are we going to do to pass the time until then?”
With a dramatic shrug, the monkey chittered disappointedly.

Ze thanked the duck and tucked the coin into his shirt, along with a few others, and kept his gaze on the crowd. He heard Aladdin's comment and simply leaned against the table for a moment. Eh, he could bite. He'd done enough on the corner anyways, people would begin to get suspicious.
"Ah, meo amigo, there's is plenty to be doing in Toon-y Town. I can maybe to show you, yes?" For a small fee of course but Ze would mention that little bit later. Once he was sure this guy was the patsy he was pretending to be.

No slippery games in the works for him? That threw Aladdin off since he had planned on exposing the con artist for what he was, but the change in course did not deter him; at least it prevented fowl from cheating others.
“Plenty?” Aladdin scrunched up his nose in disbelief and then took another look around. “Well, I guess I’ll have to take a local’s word for it! What do you say, Abu? Want to spend a few hours with uh-“ Aladdin rubbed the back of his neck. “I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your name. I’m Aladdin and this here is Abu!”
Abu doffed his fez and chittered his name back to the bird.
