Greetings, programs!
For those who don't know how to attach signature images to your character's profile, don't fret! Super Joseph is here, and he'll try his best to explain the process. It might be a bit tricky at first, but with practice it really is second nature! So, here's a visual tutorial. Let's get started!
We are going to use Alice as an example, but Alice won't make a difference because this is exactly what will happen when you give it a try. The only difference is that I will use a specific link for the image. You will need to use something different. But I'm getting ahead of myself!
While you are logged in as your character, go up to the Profile button at the top of any page in FK, and click on it.
You are now in View Profile for your character. In this case, it is View Profile: Alice. Because we want to modify Alice's signature settings, we need to click on Modify Profile. Go ahead and click that.
You are now in your character's Modify Profile page. Scroll down until you reach the Personal Information area.
We'll be focusing entirely on the Signature field. Please note that up to 400 characters can be used. You can't have any more, so be mindful of space limitations!
Let's begin with what I personally like to do. I like to center-align my signature, so I'm going to type in the center codes. If you don't like center-aligning your signature, or you're not interested in learning how to center-align right now, then go ahead and skip this step and move onto the next.
Next we'll add the image codes. It's similar to Center, but the actual word is different. This time it's img. Just like the Center codes, put in two pairs of brackets, [] []. Put img in between the first pair of brackets, and /img between the second. Go ahead and type that into the signature.
Now to apply an image to Alice's profile. You can only use images that have actual links for images. You cannot upload images here in Fantasmic Kingdom, you have to upload them yourself, or at least use a different image from somewhere in the Internet. If you need a place to upload images, I high recommend Photobucket.com. I've used Photobucket for almost a decade, and it has served me well. Besides, creating an account is free, and there's so much space available to upload! Anyway, for Alice this is the image we're going to use. Thanks to Amanda for creating it!

You can't see the image until you click on the link. But the link is precisely what you need. I am going to cut the link. I prefer to use the shortcut, Ctrl+C. I paste it between img and /img (with brackets), which is required. Leave NO spaces.
Here's how this works. img and /img are the codes, and the link to the image must go in between. img begins recognizing a link, and /img ends it, so that's how images from the Internet are brought here to your character's profile. If you have any spaces anywhere in the coding, though, it'll screw up. So please be very careful.
Anyway, let's take the link, img.photobucket.com/albums/v208/DingleDootie/AliceSig.png, and put it in Alice's signature, leaving no spaces! I use CTRL+V as a shortcut to paste. It should roughly look like this!
Here is another optional step. If you want to include text, it's quite simple! For Alice's signature, I'll use this as the text:
“Hmmm, better look first. For if one drinks much from a bottle marked 'poison', it's almost certain to disagree with one, sooner or later!”
So I'm going to cut and paste that text into the signature. First I click in the signature box, and hit Enter to go down a line, so the text will appear under the image and not by its side. The text should go inside the red circle below.
But mind the number of remaining character space! Remember, you can't type in any more if the counter reaches 0. Also, if you're having your signature be center-aligned, make sure both the image codes and the text are between the first center code and the second.
With that said, let's paste the text to Alice's signature!
Now that I feel confident with Alice's signature, let's scroll all the way down and click on the Modify Profile button.
Now scroll down to see if you succeeded, and there you go!
That wasn't so hard, hopefully! If you're still having trouble, just give it a few more tries and see if you get the knack of it. As long as you don't hit the Delete Account button, which terminates your character, you can tinker around as much as you want!
If you continue to have trouble, just ask Amanda or me for help, and we'll definitely assist you!
By the way, these image codes are also how you display pictures here in the actual forum. Remember that. Thanks for reading, and have fun role-playing!
