"They never want me to meet anyone," Briar Rose softly explained to her friends, consisting of numerous birds, a squirrel and two rabbits. They were her only 'friends' to speak of, although there were actual humans that Rose remembered. "But you know something? I fooled them. I have met someone," she said after a light giggle, pleased with her retrospection. The animals squirmed with anticipation.
Who? an owl asked.
"A... princess," Rose replied. Saying the word brought a smile to her lips. "Princess Cinderella. She has blue eyes, a sweet voice... and she is so beautiful..." She pressed her back against the trunk of a large tree as she realized how happy she would be if the important Cinderella was sweet enough to befriend a bland peasant such as herself.
"And there was Donald," she continued to explain, "an adorable, talking duck with a funny voice." She couldn't help but giggle softly as she recalled the anthropomorphic waterfowl. The animals, however, were confused at the prospect of an English-speaking duck.
"Then I met a girl named Wendy, and a bear was with her... but then some strange men came to us." Her smile had faded as she recalled the man of whom she thought: Captain Hook. "I'm afraid I didn't really like them," she admitted. She felt terrible, but they were indeed dark in manners.
"But I didn't tell Aunt Flora, Aunt Fauna, and Aunt Merryweather. I know they wouldn't approve." She closed her eyes and weakly sighed. "I wish I could meet her again..."

Bruno playfully lumbered through the soft underbrush of the forest. Cinderella trot faithfully behind him, laughing gently in efforts to match his distance.
Suddenly, he paused -- his attention mount on a new scent. Following it eagerly, his pace grew even faster. Sighing with his familiar ways, Cinderella lift the train of her servant dress and followed him in impressive pursuit.
"Bruno ... !"
Bruno, however, was too distracted by the rabbit scent he'd found and -- ah! -- even more distracted by the gold-tressed, purple-eyed lady in his gaze. Dumbstruck, he shamelessly pushed himself between her arms, flopped his head into her lap, and smiled up at her. *
"Bruno ... !"
Cinderella gently unfurled the clinging cluster of branches in her path. Rounding a group of small trees, she recognized a familiar brown tail in the distance. A smile tugged at her lips.
Relieved that he wasn't harmed, her brisk trot relaxed into a soft, "ladylike" pace as she neared the tree ...
OOC: * I truthfully wasn't sure if she was sitting or standing, so I improvised. I'd be delighted to modify it if you'd like, though!

(OOC: She was sitting. Ohhhh, yeah. ) In what is possibly the most freakish coincidence to ever happen in Fantasmic Kingdom, Briar Rose would soon get her wish. When the old yet adorable dog forced himself into her grasp, Rose, as well as the forest animals, stared at said dog with bafflement. Where did he come from? She smiled and stroked the dog's head gently, when she heard Cinderella's voice calling out for a name. Rose gasped and spun her head to the left, causing her long tresses to swoop delicately in the air. She leaned to see beyond the tree, and saw Cinderella walk towards her. Deeply surprised, she hid behind the tree again. She wished to meet Cinderella again, but she didn't expect it to be so soon! She removed herself from the dog and stood, frantically smudging her peasant dress. She had to appear at least presentable to a princess, after all.
