Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on November 30. Just giving everyone a heads up!
Edit: The Blu-Ray edition will include the highly sought after Disney/Salvador Dalí short, "Destino."
Thanks to Ultimate Disney.com for the info.

Was anyone else a completely immature little kid like I was and tittered when you saw the harpy's naked torso in the 'Night On Bald Mountain' segment?
I like Fantasia, though not enough to go out and get it on DVD I'm afraid. I'm still waiting for Fantasia 2090 to be shown on TV. *taps foot*

I was more attracted to the female centaurs, personally. ;D
And I love Fantasia. It's one of my top ten favorite movies of all time, so I'm definitely picking this upcoming edition up. Can't wait. ^^

=D They were pretty cool. The pegasi and the two zebra-taurs were my favorites.

When are we gonna see a Miranda Wright movie? =/ Picture it: a gritty crime drama starring Miranda Wright.

*laughs* That'd be about as trainwrecky as a gritty crime film about the Pound Underground.
But seriously, I think I saw a Bonkers fanfic like that on Fanfiction.net. No way was I clicking on it.

It is kinda hard to imagine Miranda Wright cradling a dying Bonkers in her arms and crying, while screaming words normally reserved for Quentin Tarantino films, yeah.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGdK9jpn19wHell yeah. <3 Disney was way ahead of its time when animating these dinosaurs; the most impressive examples animation has ever seen. I'll definitely be picking up the original Fantasia when I can. I love the 2000 version as well, Rhapsody in Blue is a brilliant segment.
