The movie topic got me wondering something: what non-Disney shows do you guys enjoy?
I would have to say that some of my own favorites are Psych, Leverage, Community, Law And Order (any season before Jerry Orbach left), American Justice, Bravestarr, Dexter, Power Rangers, The Simpsons (1990-1996 episodes only), Arrested Development, Road Rovers, The A-Team, Reaper, and Law And Order SVU (before the plots started going off the deep end).
I also enjoy history, true life crime, and fortean shows as well (well, the ones that aren’t schlocky sensationalist crap anyways).

I can't say I actually watch much TV anymore... I much prefer Youtube. :3
Well, as far as the mainstream stuff goes, The Office is pretty damn funny. I'd have to say my favorite show currently still airing is Futurama, though. <3 Other than that, only stuff I find myself watching on TV is documentaries on Discovery or National Geographic/Wild. I'm a natural history f*g buff. =P
Favorite show no longer airing? Samurai Jack, baby. <3 Also, Animaniacs - or any of the 90's Warner Bros. cartoons (Batman TAS included, which I really need to look at again).
If you want to get technical... I'm a bit of an otaku and enjoy many anime series. But of course, none I like are aired on American television so that doesn't really count, lol.

.... you're a cigarette?
I'm a guy who doesn't pick sides regarding The Office. I love both the UK original and the US version for different reasons.
Edit: I just noticed this is a TV show thread! I'll post again when I have a better list.

I have many, but most of them are British shows, so you'll most likely never heard of them. =P A lot are no long running, either.
Doctor Who, Casualty, Only Fools And Horses, The League Of Gentlemen, Friends, Outnumbered, Family Guy [just the earlier episodes, waaay over-board now], Waiting For God, The Simpsons, Futurama.
I don't know if you also mean non-Disney cartoons like on CN or whatever, but there's a truckload of various ones I still love. <3

"Mystery Science Theater 3000," classic episodes of "The Simpsons" (that show has gone on way too long, I think), "Family Guy" (although I do think it's a bit past its prime), "South Park," "Batman: The Animated Series," AAAHH!!! Real Monsters," "Schoolhouse Rock!", "Justice League," "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," "Tiny Toon Adventures," "Animaniacs," "Freakazoid!," "Real Ghostbusters," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Wonder Showzen," "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" (when I was a little boy; it's a stupid show but I just can't bring myself to hate it because I loved it so much as a child), "Man v. Food," "Bizarre Foods," "Space Ghost Coast to Coast," "Justice League Unlimited," "Dexter," "Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "The Office [UK]," "The Office [US]," "Rocko's Modern Life," "The Ren & Stimpy Show," "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon" (original Japanese version only; I do not accept the English dub), "The Venture Bros.," "The Twilight Zone," "Tales from the Crypt," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?," "Inspector Gadget," "The Muppet Show," "The Angry Video Game Nerd" (online series), "The Nostalgia Critic" (online series), "Cowboy Bebop," "Arrested Development," "Monty Python's Flying Circus," etc...

Mushing all my replies into one post... XD I like the Office too, but I admit I prefer the older seasons. The new ones seem to be... I don't know, lacking something. I heard they were replacing Steve Carrell with Harvey Keitel? I've seen some eps of the British version, but not enough to form a solid opinion on it.
National Geographic is awesome. So is Animaniacs. <3 I think it's better the Tiny Toons actually, IMHO.
YouTube (or Truveo) is great for finding old cartoons. I''m still waiting for someone to upload Widget The World Watcher, Raggedy Anne and Andy (1980s one), Dog City, and Monster Force. Was it me, or were cartoons in the '90s and '80s generally better then most of the ones made now? I know not all of the new ones are bad, but it seems like a lot of cartoons were more innovative and fun then. You don't see many talking animal cartoon these days either, and the ones that are out are all slapstick.
I do recognize a few of the shows you've listed Hannah, although I've never actually seen them. I've just gotten into Doctor Who actually. Right now I have to say that I really like the Third and Fourth Doctors the best. I'd like to see more of the various Doctors though. Do you have any favorite ones?
I could not agree more about The Simpsons, Joseph. If that show was a horse, I would've taken out to pasture and put it down.

Sorry to butt in, but Eilonwy isn't Amanda; it's Hannah. And, WOW. You mentioned Widget the World Watcher. I ripped the music from the Super Nintendo game the other day, and was listening to it earlier. What a coincidence! Besides Widget the World Watcher, does anyone, anyone here remember Denver the Last Dinosaur? lol

Darnit, I will get everybody's names right soon! Sorry. I am notoriously awful at remembering names. Everyone remembers Captain Planet, but Widget was the bomb; I have many fond memories of that show. I barely remember Denver. Was the concept a little like The Land Before Time?

Hey, it's cool. We're still new to your life, so it's understandable. Yeah, it was kinda like Land Before Time, except it was EXTREMELY 80's. lol And, yeah, Widget. Damn, that takes me back. Big time.

COMPLETELY agreed about Simpsons and Family Guy. Simpsons was great back in the day, and Family Guy used to be better before it started going more for shock value and just being offensive and less about making you think. Anyway, I love Firefly (IN LOVE!) Parks and Recreation, Castle, Community, The Office (used to be so much better, and I still wanna see the British version, cause Brits are <3 for me, though not in that Madonna wannabe way ) I've seen a little of Coupling, of what I've seen I wanna watch more cause its FUNNY as can be. Jack Davenport rocks my socks. Anyway, i also like Law and Order SUV reruns. Mystery Science Theater was AMAZING. Arrested Development, The Middle, Wife Swap

Concerning "The Simpsons", it really is just sad when you compared old episodes to the new ones.
Can't say that I remember anything about "Denver's" end credits, Josh. But you reminded me of "Fresh Prince"! Aside from a few clunkers, it's definitely of the best sitcoms around, IMHO. "Married With Children" was funny too, but I think the later seasons took a nosedive.
I've seen a couple of episodes of "Mystery Science Theater". Would love to see more.

Ooh, I forgot Life On Mars/Ashes To Ashes. I've yet to see the second one, but the first has been excellent so far. Highly recommended, just don't watch the US remake. Dear God, I've nothing against the US, but the remake is dire.
