Duck Avenger's favorite invention from Gyro Gearloose was the Star Wisher. But a very close second was the super megawatt antenna Gyro had installed on the roof of the Overlook. With that super megawatt antenna (the real name was largely jargon to Duck Avenger, so he settled with just the super antenna), the Dream League could not only receive radio stations from around the world, but also TV stations and networks. Was it legal? No. But it was awesome, so who cares?!
Actually, it was awesome when it wanted to be. But, like with any experience with TV, there were days where there was simply nothing on. Nothing of interest to the Avenger. He was seated on the couch one early afternoon, flipping through channels with the custom remote control, staring blankly at the TV. He failed to find any program that enticed him. There was just nothing on.
Duck Avenger grew weary. Holding the remote with his right hand, he slipped his left hand into the front of his belt and slumped in the chair, like a man married with children and bored with the life, only to be greeted with a lack of interesting television shows. He was done with Russian networks. Now, how about Japanese? He gave it a go, and began flipping through Japanese channels.
He finally came upon a channel that was airing a TV cartoon already well into the plot. From what he gathered, it was an anime. He wasn't that knowledgeable of anime, but he knew the basics: anime is animation produced in Japan, and is easily recognizable in numerous ways, from how characters' mouths move, to standards and conventions of the animation form. This anime he discovered starred a duck in a spandex costume of a black and purple coloration. What a funny coincidence, the Avenger thought to himself when he saw this costume. It's kinda like mine. Then he noticed the hat the duck wore. It was a flat sailor hat, different from his own, but still disturbingly similar. But one final detail convinced Duck Avenger that there was something fishy about this: the duck in the anime punched a thug in a move very similar to one the Avenger would make.
The Avenger's eyes widened like dinner plates. His bill was agape. He stared blankly at the TV screen. "What the heck is this?!"
In the anime, the Duck Avenger knockoff (the real Avenger heard the name Kamo directed to him repeatedly, so he figured that was probably his name) spoke with a grisly, intense voice, much darker than his own. And he was more violent, too, often sending hooligans flying to the sky (where they faded out of sight with a twink) with a single punch. Dang! The Avenger wished he was strong like that!
The Avenger couldn't watch this alone. He had to tell the others about it. And so he shouted as loud as he could without blowing his voice out, shouting for anyone and everyone in the Overlook to come to him.
"Hey, everybody! Get in here!! Now! There's something on TV!" He was baffled by the anime, but at the same time he was already becoming stoked. If his anime counterpart was this awesome, he must have been well liked in Japan! How did the people there know about the Dream League, anyway? The League hasn't visited Japan... yet.

The Masked Mallard barged into the room, a wild expression on his face as he focused his eyes, which appeared to be entirely white behind the domino mask he wore, on the large television set. "What is it? Hostage situation? A natural disaster?" He urgently questioned.
He had just been speaking with Gyro when he had heard Duck Avenger's shout (it would've been hard not to have heard it, considering that the lad had lungs of iron) and come running. He was sure something dire was happening and being covered on the news. Why else would the Avenger be yelling his head off?
But what he saw was not a scene of carnage or tragedy, but some sort of cartoon. There was some absurdly-costumed duck character capering about on the screen, but he didn't pay it much mind, being rather irritated just then. The Masked Mallard looked to the Avenger, his brows furrowed in annoyance.
As a couple of other Dreamers and Duckworth came to see what was happening, the older duck flatly demanded, "You called us in here for a cartoon?" Unless it was CNBC, the classic movie channel, or the news, he didn't bother with television much, especially these days. A lot of what was shown on it was garbage in his opinion.

Dreamchild was at the dining room table, sipping tea, and thumbing through a collection of 19th century American literature. The book rested on the table and was opened, both covers planted firmly against the table's surface. Dreamchild had just set down her tea cup and was about to turn the page, when she heard Duck Avenger's loud demand. She sighed, slightly disappointed that he didn't shout until after she finished 'Rip Van Winkle.' She scooted back the chair, got up, and walked for the living room, where Duck Avenger was watching TV.
The Masked Mallard was in the room, and he only thinly disguised his annoyance when he asked Duck Avenger what was so shocking about a cartoon. Dreamchild felt the same. Not even wholeheartedly watching the TV, she looked to Duck Avenger, as she stood beside the Masked Mallard. "What's the matter?"

Duck Avenger watched the TV intently, but through the corner of his eye he did notice the Masked Mallard and Dreamchild enter. Duck Avenger was literally on the edge of his seat, and he shook his head wildly when his comrades asked what the fuss was about. The Avenger pointed at the TV, his eyes still wide.
"No, just look! That's me! And--"
The anime changed scenes. The story (and camera) cut from Kamo, and focused on a very cute, little blonde girl with eyes that sparkled like emeralds. He grinned and leered to Dreamchild, anticipating her reaction. "Hey, DC. Look."

Dreamchild's eyebrows raised when the Avenger's attitude changed in an instant. She knew that something was going on inside that head of his, because of his impish grin. He told her to look at the television set, which she was glad to do. She folded her arms on her chest and casually glanced at the TV.
What appeared on TV was a very cute little girl in a sailor-like school uniform. She carried with her a black attache case, both of her hands locked in the handle. Her eyes were the size Frisbees, and her emerald eyes sparkled adorably. At first, Dreamchild wondered why Duck Avenger appeared so knowing, but she slowly realized (and lowered her arms) that... No! Could it be?
The girl spoke, but the language was entirely foreign to Dreamchild; she couldn't speak Japanese, let alone understand it. From what she could tell, though, the girl had a dramatic, serious mental monologue, as she walked alone in a city. Then she looked up and saw the anime duck in spandex fighting a large group of thugs. The anime girl nodded determinedly, raised her right hand in the air, and shouted in adorable Engrish: "Dream Slumber Party MAKE UP!"
What ensued was a scene so bizarre, Dreamchild's face twisted in confusion.
The girl in the anime lost all colors and details on her body, becoming a silhouette of rapidly changing shades of pink and yellow. But her eyes remained normal during what became obvious as a transformation. The technicolor silhouette flowed and spun graciously in front of a starry background whose stars quickly fell, like a shower. The girl's hair flowed, and the Engrish-singing choir in the background revealed her name to those watching the TV:
Chibi-Dream! Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-do-doo Chibi-Dream! Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-do-doo Chibi-Dream![/i]
As the choir sang a nauseatingly catchy tune, the camera zoomed in at certain body parts of the ever-twirling Chibi-Dream. First her white leotard formed on her body, then white gloves with blue trimmings that almost reached her elbows. Next her feet were covered by blue boots with strands of white near the top, and then, a light blue skirt attached to her leotard (very similar to how Sunshine's costume was designed). Finally, a blue mask that resembled Dreamchild's appeared on Chibi-Dream's face. Chibi-Dream opened her pure white eyes, smiled daintily, and posed dramatically, as the choir finished on a sustained note. CHIBI-DREAM!
Dreamchild stared at the TV. She didn't react to Duck Avenger's haughty giggle, but she did shake her head to the TV in disbelief. "What? That's supposed to be me?"

When he had entered the room, Duckworth had actually noticed that the duck on the T.V. bore an uncanny resemblance to the League's own Duck Avenger. And the little girl now being shown seemed to be based on Dreamchild, if somewhat loosely.
Duckworth continued to watch the cartoon in both disbelief and bewilderment, but mostly the latter. From what he could understand, there was some sort of sequence in which the girl magically changed outfits. He didn't quite know what to say. These days, cartoons were so different then what they were when he was younger. Popeye would have a problem, eat his spinach, and save the day.
Finally finding his voice, Duckworth said in response to an amazed Dreamchild's question. "It would appear so, miss. It's, um... interesting."
The POV of the scene switched just then. A duck, appearing considerably older then the Duck Avenger knockoff, was standing on the rooftop of a skyscraper, his cape flowing dramatically behind him. In his black top hat, red-lined cape, white mask, and tuxedo, it was easy to determine who this was supposed to represent. He even clutched a black cane similar to the Masked Mallard's. Duckworth's whitish-gray eyebrows shot up, and he addressed the Masked Mallard, who had frozen in place as he stared at the T.V. screen.
"Sir, that appears to be you." He didn't need to tell his employer that, as of course he had picked up on it too, but in this case Duckworth couldn't help but state the obvious. Even though it was technically not Scrooge but his heroic identity, the butler found the idea of Scrooge as a cartoon too amusing.
The cartoon Masked Mallard, who had ridiculously bushy eyebrows, gasped as he noticed the fight on the streets below and said something dramatic in Japanese before leaping off the roof.
Now Duckworth couldn't leave. He wanted to see who would show up next -- er, what would transpire next.

Sunshine was in her room, on her bed, reading a romance novel she received as a gift from a thankful girl she rescued from dangerous situation, some days ago. She looked up from the book when she heard the distinctive voice that belonged to one Duck Avenger. She set the book on the bed beside her, removed her glasses, and placed the spectacles on top of the book. She got off of her bed and walked briskly out of her room, out of the residential corridor, and to the living room. Evyindria did not have the magic box known as the TV, and she had mixed opinions about it: she loved nature documentaries and musicals, but every time someone turned it on and switched to MTV, Sunshine felt the irrational urge to retire to another room and read a book.
Sunshine smiled upon seeing her friends gathered in front of the TV, though she wondered why they were so fixated on it. She looked at the television and instantly became fascinated. She wasn't too familiar with anime (or any kind of animation), but even she could plainly see that the old duck rushing to into action bore an uncanny resemblance to the Masked Mallard, the wide-eyed cheery girl to Dreamchild (though her powers seemed different), and... Duck Avenger? Even if all of these characters weren't always together, the POV shifted between them often.
The beautiful teenager, whose masked was removed and left in her room, looked to her friends, specifically Duckworth. "Are... are they supposed to be us?"

Starpup whom was busy training alongside Green Bone floated in hearing Duck Avenger "Hey what's going on?" The two-toned pup asked as she landed on the ground, she noticed the TV and in particular an animated version of Duck Avenger and the other league members "Whoa, is that supposed to be us?" Starpup asked curiously. "I gotta tell Green Bone about this." she said

"It certainly looks like the League." Duckworth answered in response to the queries of Sunshine, Star Pup, and the Green Bone. He had taken up a position behind the sofa, leaning forward slightly with his hands on the back of the couch.
Doctor Doppler, who had come in sometime after the Green Bone did, exclaimed, "A cartoon? Why, I haven't sat down to watch one since I was a boy. I was such a huge fan of Rocket Rabbit..."
Sensing the doctor was about to launch into one of his infamous long-winded dialogues, Duckworth rolled his eyes slightly, but held his tongue. He decided it'd be best to tune the fellow out for the time being. Plus, he didn't want to risk getting him irritated and turning into his hulking, scary-beyond-all-reason alternate form. Usually, the butler didn't mind Doppler much, but right now this strange cartoon had captured his focus.

"Well now," The Masked Mallard gave a rather pleased-sounding chuckle as he watched his animated counterpart. Okay, so he was flattered. "That isn't a bad likeness. Aside from the eyebrows that is." Discretely, he self-consciously rubbed his own brow. His eyebrows really weren't that bushy, were they?
Having traveled throughout the world on his business trips as Scrooge McDuck, he had learned to speak several different languages. He knew a bit of conversational Japanese, though the language wasn't one of his strong suits unfortunately, but for the most part, he could get the basic just of what was being said.
Onscreen, as a jaunty song cued up in the background, the old superhero appeared to be frozen in mid-leap, and the background behind him consisted of a series of gray lines on aqua. "Toppuhatto!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs in a husky-sounding voice.
Landing on the street near four thugs, he raised his cane and struck the pavement with it, creating a shockwave-like effect that raced towards the bad guys and scattered them like pins. 'Nice one'. the Mallard thought as the duck, who he assumed was named Toppuhatto, then proceeded to lay into more villains.
Smirking appreciatively, he turned to Sunshine, Savage, Green Bone, and Star Pup. "Perhaps you four will see yourselves next."

"Hope they captured me in style" Green Bone turned his attention toward the Masked Mallard, he then looked at the TV again, he noticed a familiar emerald glow on screen as it revealed a cuter more anime-ish version of himself. the canine on screen had longer ears, large anime-ish eyes though covered by his mask, the same green and black bodysuit and logo. The green bone blinked at his on-screen counterpart "Are my eyes and ears that big?" He wondered.
Onscreen the glowing emerald pup landed pulling a sentai-esque pose, a flashy effect followed "emerald dog of justice, Canine green!" The pup yelled in japanese and then he began to use his ring to string up two more thugs trying to flee like a couple of dogs on leashes.
Green Bone cocked an eyebrow at this action. "I might have to learn that move"

From where she watched the TV, she stood beside the superpowered puppies. She listened to Dr. Doppler's nostalgic memories of Rocket Rabbit, though she didn't comment on the subject. And, honestly, she was far too distracted by the anime representation of the League. She smiled and playfully leered to the Masked Mallard after Toppuhatto made a glorious attack, and proved himself quite spry and powerful. "Oh, I can only hope my counterpart will be as wonderful as yours."
When the Green Bone's anime counterpart appeared and used his power to confine villains, the blonde giggled and she affectionately stroked the real Green Bone's ears. "You look so cute with those big eyes!" She smiled warmly down at the green pup, and then looked at the TV when she heard Chibi-Dream begin an attack.

Dreamchild invited herself to take a seat on the couch, sitting beside Duck Avenger. There was room for one or two more people. Once sitting down, she crossed her legs and rested her hands delicately on her lap. She turned her head and smiled to Dr. Delbert when she heard him, but was, like everyone else, too distracted by the show to comment. Dreamchild watched Toppuhatto and the Green Bone attack with their superpowers. Their powers seemed to be a mixture of fact and fiction, as though the creators of this show took the Dreamers' powers and used them as a foundation, to build upon and exaggerated. Yet, Chibi-Dream, who physically resembled Dreamchild, had a substantially different costume.
"I think they did make me look pretty," she said aloud to everyone to hear. After she said this, Chibi Dream shouted TEA AND CAKE ILLUSION!, pointed her palms toward a cluster of goons ahead of her, and shoved all of them with telepathic powers. At least, Dreamchild thought; she was very confused. "But did they have to make my costume look like that?" She frowned slightly. "At least make the skirt longer, for goodness' sake! I would never wear a skirt that high!"

"Her skirt is definitely short," agreed Sunshine with a nod. She continued to watch Chibi Dream attack, amused by how silly and exaggerated this animation was. There hadn't been a new character introduced for a while, which led Sunshine to doubt whether or not another hero would be introduced. As if the TV show harbored the same telepathic powers as Dreamchild, the show's POV changed, obviously to introduce a new character.
The show focused in a bathroom, at one end of a white porcelain bathtub. The tub was vintage and elegant in design, and obviously had an occupant because of a slender foot rising from the steamy hot water. The foot rested on that end of the tub, and a sensual sigh could be heard. The tub was filled with steamy hot water, and over the water was a layer of bath bubbles so thick, it climbed much higher than the actual tub. The camera slowly panned to the right, revealing more of the tub and, more importantly, more of the sexy young woman in the bath. The most unmentionable parts of her body were obscured by the bubbles, but barely. The young woman, possibly a girl in her late teens, had a large smile on her face. Her eyes were closed, and she rested her back against the opposite end of the tub.
By now, Sunshine was very uncomfortable. She had a strong hunch she knew exactly who this character represented. She cleared her throat even though she didn't need to. She could only awkwardly watch.
The young woman in the bath's eyes snapped open, and she gasped. Her eyes, just as large and cute as any other character on the show, was bright purple. She seemed to hear a fight going on outside of what was presumably her home. A determined passion crossed her face, and she jumped out of the bath tub, though with how the camera was positioned and how the character was animated, nothing terribly revealing was seen. Within seconds, extreme close-ups of the woman putting on a costume flashed on the TV, accompanied by "WHOOSH" and "SHING" sound effects.
The camera criss-crossed all over her body after she finished getting dressed. Her dark pink boots were high-heeled and made of leather, and came up to beyond her knees. Her costume, a mixture of blue and pink, was very skimpy and tight-fitting; it hugged her knockout body. Like her boots, she wore dark pink leather gloves that trailed all the way up to about halfway between her elbows and shoulder blades. Her purple eyes were still visible beyond her purple domino mask, and her long, thick, straight yellow hair had a large, angular swirl on the left side of her forehead, and three large, angular bangs that swiped on the right side. But the most alarming exaggeration of this representation of Sunshine was her extremely large breasts.
This overly sexualized teenager was impossibly leggy, and impossibly busty. Her enormous orbs defied the laws of physics, and moved like two over-inflated balloons with the knots nailed to a plyboard; they jiggled and bounced with the slightest movement she made. To make matters more distressing, her costume, though mostly a leotard, had a large cut in the chest area, and so her tremendous cleavage was exposed all the time. The front of her jiggle-proned assets were covered by part of the leotard that somehow managed to stay affixed on the surface. The ridiculously sexy teenager winked, stuck out her tongue to the camera, and posed dramatically, her breasts jiggling yet again by the movement.
No one could have had a stronger reaction to this than Sunshine. Her face was almost pure red in shock and embarrassment. Her mouth was wide open, and her eyes were like dinner plates. She tried to say something, but all she could do was say random, breathless words without finishing a single sentence. Her hands were placed on the sides of her face and she could only watch, helplessly, at the TV.

Duck Avenger knew something disgustingly fanservicey was about to transpire when the show's camera panned along a bathtub. As soon as his eyes laid on the tub's occupant, he knew who that was supposed to represent: "Sunshine?!" His suspicions were confirmed when she jumped out of the bathtub and put on her skimpy costume. The hairstyle was much more angular and thick than the real thing, but there was no mistaking it: this character was pretty much the Sunshine in this topsy-turvy, lunatic world.
Duck Avenger's pupils constricted considerably, as his large, blue eyes stared at the posing, jiggly teenager. "WOOF!" he blurted, unable to suppress his amazement. He looked to Sunshine. Predictably, she appeared none too happy with her treatment.

Dreamchild's mouth was also gaping, her wide white eyes staring at the TV. "Goodness!" she exclaimed when the anime character was revealed to be very well-endowed. The English girl didn't know how to react. How could she react? She was surprised to find herself beginning to giggle. And her giggle segued into a true laugh. She squinted in her laughing fit and covered her mouth with her right hand. She shook her head and laughed even harder when the character's bust jiggled after she struck a pose.
Dreamchild looked to an understandably flustered Sunshine. She tried to calm down as she removed her gloved hand from her lips. "I'm awfully sorry! It's just that--well, it seems like they took some creative liberties!"
She covered her mouth again and fought back laughter. She looked away from everyone, hiding her tickled face.

Earlier, in the kitchen, Delbert had been helping himself to some of the same tea that Dreamchild had also been enjoying over in the dining room at that moment. Opening the nearest of the cupboards, he tried to locate the sugar dish when a very familiar and very loud voice cry had arose from the living room, calling for everybody to come see something on television.
When Delbert had arrived, he found Duckworth, Dreamchild, Masked Mallard, and Duck Avenger watching some sort of cartoon. One about superheroes, it would seem. This piqued his interest, as his mind was catapulted back to happy memories of his youth sitting down in front of the T.V. to watch "Rocket Rabbit", a series about the adventures of the titular hero, a space-faring rabbit. It had served to stoke his interest in outer space.
Delbert had then decided to share his nostalgia with the others, wondering if any of them had heard of "Rocket Rabbit". He sat back on the couch beside Dreamchild. Being somewhat oblivious, he didn't realize the significance of the anime on the T.V. to the other Dreamers, in spite of the fact that the others were too caught up in what was being shown onscreen to pay him much mind. It wasn't until he saw the duck with the top hat and the green and black-garbed puppy fighting some random villains that he finally connected the dots.
"... And then one time, I remember they had Harvey Harrison, the actor who portrayed Rocket Rabbit, appear at the department store for Christmas -- Oh! That's supposed to be the Dream League, isn't it?" He asked, looking between the others with a rather delighted expression on his face.
Delbert found his attention completely captured when the young woman in bathtub was shown. There was no mistaking who the exceptionally well-endowed girl was supposed to represent. Everyone gathered in the room seemed to have similar reactions of shock. In his own surprise, Delbert's jaw went slack as his wide brown eyes stared at the television set. One couldn't help but stare. For once, he was speechless. In his mind, he could hear Savage laughing uproariously at the representation of their blond colleague, though no one else heard him. Then Dreamchild started laughing, and couldn't seem to stop.
'Poor Sunshine', Delbert thought as he glanced over at her. He felt embarrassed for the teenager. He could tell that she wanted to hide somewhere. He wanted to comfort her, but wasn't really sure what he should say.
Wait. If they had done that to Sunshine, then what would his treatment be like? Suddenly he wasn't so sure if he wanted to see himself.

Starpup also looked on as she saw her partner's animated counterpart "If they could do that for you, makes me wonder how I will be in there." Starpup said before she saw Sunshine's animated counterpart and blinked a few times before playfully creating a violet blindfold over Green Bone's mask. Though she couldn't help but laugh at Sunshine's character representation.
Now she really was curious as to how she would be portrayed

It was at around this time that She-Wolf finally entered the room - however, she hadn't heard Duck Avenger's earlier demand at all, and merely happened to come around on her own accord. Generally speaking, with a few very unusual exceptions, she only left the sanctity of the woodlands surrounding the Overlook to enter the mansion for one of three things: to attend a mission briefing or meeting, to sleep, or to obtain food. In this case, it was the latter. There was no game to catch in the forests on the island, and berries were scarce, so she was left with little choice but to subsist on the same sources of food that everybody else did. It was something that annoyed her at first, and she was still getting used to it... but, in all honesty, she found it difficult to complain too much about being able to eat whatever you wanted whenever you wanted.
Her path to the kitchen always took her through the living room, and there was usually at least one Dream League member lounging about in there. Today, however, almost half of the team had assembled in the room, by the looks of it. She-Wolf blinked a few times, staring with confusion at the sight of all of the heroes seated in front of the huge television set, looking completely engrossed with... what looked like some stupid cartoon, of all things. Even Sunshine was there... though, knowing her, she was probably just being polite, She-Wolf assumed. With a haughty huff, however, she resumed her quest to the refrigerator, wanting nothing to do with this TV party - she wanted nothing to do with such nonsense.
However, when one of the characters spoke, her attention couldn't help but waver towards the TV. That language... She recognized it, and knew it fairly well. Her parents... they made it a point to teach some of it to her while she was still young, and, as such, she was able to make out more than a few of the words spoken in the cartoon. Curiosity getting the best of her, she decided to have one last look at the TV before returning to the kitchen, and suddenly found her eyes caught on the particular character that was taking up most of the screen at the time - a girl with long blonde hair, a pink and blue costume, and... the biggest chest San had ever seen on anybody, real or fictional.
.... Wait a minute....
Realization clicked into She-Wolf's mind - or, at least, the realization that this character could be precisely who she was thinking of. Against her better judgement, she slowly approached the couch that most of the Dream League members sat on. She stared at the TV screen with outright disbelief, eyes wide and eyebrows scrunched together.
"... What is this...?" she softly muttered, partially to herself. Was... was somebody trying to mock the Dream League by means of a cartoon?

Star Pup watched on as a group of bad guys had the anime Green Bone surrounded, before the bad guys knew what hit them a large violet colored paw knocked them all down. "Hey that looks like...." Star pup blinked as she saw a similar anime-ish version of herself, same big eyes and long ears like Green Bone, though more feminine in look. the body suit with a skirt attached to it that was short, the female lands beside the anime green bone and struck a sentai-esque pose "Bringing justice with the power of love, violet canine!" the anime pup shouted in japanese.
Starpup watched in surprised to see herself now

One of the stock bad guys attempted to creep up to the Violet Canine, holding a lead pipe. He obviously intended to knock the dog out cold. However, the tacky-attired stock goon crumbled to the ground when the oversexualized Sunshine counterpart landed right on his head. When she touched the ground, her breasts jiggled once again, and she posed beside the Violet Canine. She said something in Japanese with a 'cutsey' female voice. But what she said was obviously her name in Engrish. "... Suuny Saide Up-u!"
Sunshine grimaced at the sight of the large breasts. How was this woman even standing up? There's simply no way a real woman could have a chest like that without suffering extreme back pains. What kind of message was this show sending to viewers?! Her face still red, Sunshine asked with a helpless tone.
"... Her name is Sunny Side Up?"

Dreamchild felt terrible for laughing. Obviously, this was humiliating Sunshine, and she felt so sorry for the teenager. But, honestly, the sexy character on the anime was hilarious to her. Dreamchild kept expecting the character to topple over at any second! Dreamchild had calmed herself almost entirely by the time the character revealed her name.
Dreamchild covered her smile with her left hand, but she spoke loudly for everyone to hear. "Now, why do you suppose they named her Sunny Side Up?"

Duck Avenger felt uncomfortable by the anime representation of Sunshine, but for the wrong reason. He secretly enjoyed the depiction, but he dared not reveal his feelings in front of his teammates. And so he sat, his bill clenched shut, trying to look away at different details in the scene. But this was impossible; it was impossible to look anywhere other than the sexy heroine's knockers, whenever they were on screen.
Duck Avenger smirked to the Star Pup and pointed to the screen when the Violet Canine made her entrance. Said Canine was about to be clobbered by a villain, but she was saved by the anime Sunshine, who revealed her name to be Sunny Side Up. After this revelation, Sunshine and Dreamchild wondered why she was named Sunny Side Up.
"Maybe because she's got 'em laid out like two eggs on a plate?" The Avenger looked around to his teammates and shrugged his shoulders, unable to come up with a better reason.

"Or maybe the creators were hungry?" Starpup spoke up next with her own suggestion, she was really unsure what to make of it herself. She removed the blindfold off Green Bone so he could see again.
She was curious as to how many of the League members were animated like this. Or whom might be next "I wonder who else we will see?" She said as she looked at her fellow league members, she turned her attention back toward Green Bone
She hoped he wasn't sore at her for blindfolding him.

Green Bone blinked as he could see again "Hey what was the big idea..." he stopped seeing the anime versions of Star Pup and Sunshine, he mostly stared at Sunshine's anime counterpart "Bow wow!" he said before a violet muzzle appeared on him "mmmmph!" he said, he looked at Star Pup whom was giving him a look before taking the muzzle off him "Sorry, I couldn't help it." Green Bone told Star Pup

Post by She-Wolf on Aug 27, 2011 18:19:14 GMT -8
She-Wolf was gradually becoming more and more disgusted by what she was seeing in this ridiculous cartoon. Sunshine, a noble and kindhearted defender of the innocent... here she was, being depicted as a sexualized floozy with two enormous balloons strapped to her chest, who did no more than flaunt around looking pretty. It was the most disgraceful thing She-Wolf had ever seen since joining the Dream League. The wolf girl just stared at the screen with an absolutely repulsed and agitated look on her face.
"... Why are you all laughing at this?!" she suddenly snapped at the Dreamers who were clearly enjoying the program, diverting her fierce gray eyes among them. "This stupid cartoon is mocking us! It's making the Dream League look like... like a bunch of fools!" She-Wolf clenched her fists tightly and glared at the colorful animation on-screen with great displeasure, her fangs bared in her anger. "We devote our lives to defending the innocent, and they treat us like this?! We should hunt down whoever came up with this crap and-"
Suddenly, She-Wolf became distracted from her offended speech by a sudden change in the action. As two seedy-looking thugs raised up a pair of firearms towards Sunshine, there was suddenly a flash of white streaks across a black screen, accompanied by exaggerated sound effects that seemed to echo the sound of something being sliced by a sword. The crooks watched in dumbfounded horror as their guns fell apart into pieces, and then looked up to see a newcomer standing beside Sunny Side Up, prepared to fight.
It was a young, lithe and muscular young woman around the same height as Sunny Side-Up - even taller, actually, upon closer inspection. She appeared powerful and mature, with intimidating yellow eyes and a hardened glare, but also incredibly beautiful, with back-length, flowing dark hair, a slender face and... a fairly remarkable chest in her own right, albeit far smaller than that of Sunshine's counterpart. She was, however, perhaps even more scantily-clad than Sunny Side Up, wearing no more than a bra and thong, both of which appeared to be made out of white fur, and boots of the same material. Around her neck was a black collar of some sort, studded with fierce-looking spikes. On her hands were large, paw-like gloves that ended in huge, sharp claws - easily giving away just whom this character represented. One last difference was particularly noticeable, however - atop the woman's head was a pair of white, pointed, wolf-like ears, and a fluffy white tail protruded from her backside, swishing about. Like She-Wolf, tribal-looking markings adorned her face - not only her face, however, but her arms and legs as well.
The fierce-looking woman, assuming a battle-ready pose, shifted her gaze to Sunny Side-Up, her dour expression unchanging. "Daijoubu," she spoke up, in a voice much deeper than the real She-Wolf's. "Howaito Kurou wa koko ni aru!" Although spoken in a heavy Japanese accent, the character's alias was revealed to be "White Claw".
"..........." She-Wolf had nothing to say in response to what she was seeing. She just gawked in disbelief, her eyes wide and lips agape, at what was obviously her animated counterpart, on the screen. However... she didn't appear particularly offended. On the contrary, what almost looked like a gleam of awe and excitement appeared to be visible in her gaze. Her painted cheeks even seemed to flush red in... delight?

Duck Avenger's idea for the etymology of Sunny Side Up was coarse, but definitely not coarser than the anime. It was amazing how one's attitude could change within ten minutes. Just ten minutes ago, Sunshine was in her room reading a book, minding her own business. Now she was redder than a tomato in embarrassment. But the redness was slowly fading from her body, as she was exposed more to the anime. It was clear that she wasn't the only one to be parodied, a notion that brought her some comfort.
She-Wolf was definitely angry about the cartoon show. She scolded Dreamchild and the other Dreamers for laughing at the animated display, and started a fervent speech that got cut off when her counterpart saved Sunshine from some goons. The counterpart was likewise overly sexualized (though the character's breasts were not as large as Sunny Side Up). White Claw was taller, in a bikini of some kind, and had large wolf ears.
Sunshine couldn't believe it, but she actually started to smile, however softly. She didn't know why, but she was starting to be less humiliated by the anime, and more amused. In the show, Sunny Side Up looked to her side just in time to see White Claw defeat the thugs in a flash. The ridiculously endowed vixen cheered immaturely, carried a very happy expression (^.^), and pulled White Claw into an obnoxious hug--a hug no normal human being would do. Because of how Sunny Side Up hugged White Claw, she had inadvertently pressed the latter's face right into her cleavage. Again, the way no normal person would ever do.
Minutes ago, Sunshine wanted to hide and stay hidden until the show was over. But now, to the surprise of even herself, she had laughed. It wasn't a big laugh, but it was a feminine giggle. She was clearly amused by the exploitative physical joke, however mocking.
She felt necessary to apologize, primarily to She-Wolf. "I'm sorry, but... that was actually a little funny. At least, I think." She smiled meekly at the stunned wolf girl, before covering her mouth to hide her amusement. Her face was still red, but she was coming around. She looked back at the TV screen and continued to watch the anime.

Wastelander had just gotten into the Dream League. He had hoped to get a little recognition for his work, but this was ridiculous. The minute he came into the room, he saw a long eared Pikachu-like creature come on to the screen wearing HIS costume. "OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!" he finally exclaimed, "It is obvious The Japanese have major issues regarding translating American Superheros into the animated medium."
