The young princess could not believe it.
It wasn't enough that she'd managed to get away from her own castle, now here she was, standing in front of another! Eilonwy sighed, clearly annoyed at this, but then she began to wonder what the people who lived in this castle were like.
Hopefully, she wouldn't be around here for long, and then she could go and find somewhere more interesting to explore.
She wasn't meaning to be impolite; on the contrary, Eilonwy could be quite the lady when she wanted to be, and she seemed to constantly be reminding others of how to behave properly. Pushing back a loose strand of hair, she began to turn away from the castle.

Hidden among nearby trees of the castle's grounds, but visible to those paying close attention, was a stout, rotund man with a helmet. Actually, upon closer inspection it was a mechanical man, with gold plating, and its eyes closed. The man had his right arm raised, but remained very still, dormant, inactive. It was off. If one inspected the back of this mechanical man, one would find instructions: PATENTED CLOCKWORK MECHANICAL MAN *DOES EVERYTHING BUT LIVE* FOR THINKING - WIND NO. 1 UNDER LEFT ARM FOR SPEAKING - WIND NO. 2 UNDER RIGHT ARM FOR WALKING & ACTION - WIND NO. 3 MIDDLE OF BACK GUARANTEED TO WORK PERFECTLY FOR A THOUSAND YEARS [/center]

Dressed down in a blouse and jeans, Miranda was strolling around the castle's exterior. In spite of the fact that she was refraining from gawking at the majestic old building like some hayseed, she was obviously admiring the structure. On the other hand, her friend next to her practically screamed tourist. Why Bonkers felt he needed to spin-change into medieval garb complete with tights and wear it the entire time they had been here, she never knew. Why she had even decided to come on vacation with Bonkers, well, she sometimes found herself wondering that as well.
"Miranda!" The excited toon bobcat gasped. Presently, he was reading from a book about the Middle Ages he had picked up from a corner store. "Did you know that the court would carry mock scepters that had an animal head the inflated animal bladder on the end?"
Miranda pulled a face. "Now that sounds charming."
Bonkers' eyes suddenly grew large. Grabbing Miranda's arm, he sheepishly whispered into her ear, "Um, I think I might need to go to the little toon's room."
Miranda cocked a blond eyebrow. "I thought you went before we left?"
"I guess I shouldn't have had that Big Gulp before we came here." He replied helplessly.
Glancing around, Miranda spied a young girl walking away from the castle. She looked like she actually lived here, if her style of dress was anything to go by. "Excuse me, miss," Miranda called after her, raising a hand into the air. "I don't suppose there's a restroom or something somewhere nearby?" She cast a glance over at her partner, who was started to look rather uncomfortable.
(I hope this is alright.)

Sighing, Eilonwy decided that she might as well leave here. There wasn't really anyone around at the moment, and she didn't fancy going into the castle - it was most probably just like any other castle - large and dull. When she went out, the girl always liked to dress as if she wasn't a princess, but it seemed someone would always take her as one - even if she thought she didn't look anything like the sort. Straightening her headband, Eilonwy decided on a direction to go in, when a blonde, pretty young woman headed up to her, asking her for a 'restroom.' The girl fought back the urge to sigh - it was clear the woman thought she actually lived here. Despite her current mood, she decided that it was still always best to be polite. "A restroom, you say? Well, I'm afraid I've no idea what you mean by that wholly, but if you're looking for somewhere to rest, I suppose that castle there would be best." She stopped, before quickly adding, "Not that I live there - no. Can't stand castles really, but it does help if the people there are well-raised..." She was off, lost in her rambles, until something nearby caught her eye. "I'm sorry, but do you see that, over there?" Eilonwy asked the woman, moving closer to her, then pointing in the object's direction. The girl started to move closer to the metal item, and, on closer inspection, she realised that it's face almost resembled a man's...this was very strange, indeed. Daring to reach out, she touched the man, whos plating felt cold and smooth against her hand. Still puzzled, Eilonwy walked around him, then saw words on the back of him. Bending down slightly, she managed to read the instructions, which appeared to be on how to activate the man. Catching sight of the handle under his right arm, the girl wondered whether she should wind it or not. Suppose he was dangerous, and this was all a trap? "But, thinking about it, there are three levers. If I wind this one, surely all it can do is talk?" Having made up her mind, Eilonwy reached out, and carefully wound the second handle. [OOC: It's fine. And Joe, are they handles? I wasn't sure.]

(OOC: I am so sorry to keep you waiting, guys! I owe you two big time. There aren't any handles on him; the wind-up keys are just that, wind-up keys. Here, I have two pictures to help give you two a better picture! Click here and here to see. I hope this helps!) As Eilonwy winded the speaking key under the man's right arm, the key made very loud clicking noises as it winded. When the key was sufficiently wound, whirring noises reminiscent of clockwork could be heard from within the rotund mechanical man, if one kept quiet and listened. The mechanical man's eyelids lifted, revealing emerald eyes. The eyelids made scraping noises as it moved. The man's speech was wounded, but unfortunately Eilonwy did not wind up his thinking process. Therefore, the mechanical man spoke complete nonsense. The mechanical man did not have a mouth, but its mustache twitched with each word he spoke. "Anoint the palm!" The mechanical man's eyelids fluttered in a spastic fashion, as he caught glimpses of the strangers. Because he couldn't think, he just spoke randomly. "Tickle, tickle, tickle me! Make right castle Fantasmic well!"

When she questioned the girl, Miranda found herself caught in a deluge of chatter. Boy, this girl could talk! Unfortunately, she didn't understand what the policewoman meant by restroom, instead taking the word quite literally. Miranda guessed that medieval restrooms must've went by a different name, but for the life of her, she didn't know what that could have been.
When something else suddenly caught the girl's attention, she pointed it out beneath the trees and went to check it out. Indeed, Miranda noticed briefly something glint gold in the sunlight. Turning back to Bonkers, Miranda gestured for him to go off into the bushes, away from the castle. Although he grimaced at this, he finally grudgingly trudged off into a section of the nearby woods.
Now Miranda went to go have a look at what had caught the girl's attention. It was some sort of bulbous, mustachioed robot. Initially, Miranda was a little wary of the thing, but seeing as how their new friend was already winding him up, she just figured that the castle wouldn't just leave dangerous machinery laying out on the grounds and stood back to watch. When Bonkers finally returned, his eyes lit up at the strange new sight. "Hey, a robot!" In his excitement, Bonkers was jumping all around the mechanical man. "Just the one we used in Toon Trek! I wonder, can he make toast?"
The robot was finally activated, though it -- he wasn't making one lick of sense. Scratching his head, Bonkers quickly flipped through his book. "Funny, the book doesn't say they had invented Tickle Me Elmos back then."
"I think this needs to be wound up too," Miranda told both him and the girl before winding the key under his left arm and stepping back. "There, now let's see what happens."

Just like the speech key, the thinking key made loud noises as Miranda wound it. Even when when the key wasn't wound all the way, it took immediate effect. The mechanical man stopped his non-sequiturs and instead stammered. His mustache twitched, he blinked once, and he spoke sensibly at last.
"Thank you, my lady. I am all right now," he said to Miranda. "I can think."
The man's speech was obviously not human. It was quite eloquent for a robot, but he still stalled or otherwise pronounced a word awkwardly on occasion.
The mechanical man blinked again and spoke to those he could see: Miranda, Bonkers, and Eilonwy. "Good afternoon, ladies and gentle-man." If one listened, one could hear the clockwork within the rotund machine.

(OOC: Nicole, Hannah, and to everyone affected. I'm very sorry for deleting Tik-Tok and some other characters. Being an admin on two websites, nearing the end of college, and other hassles in real life have taken its toll on me. It wasn't easy, but I had to give up some characters to compensate for my hectic, busy life. If I get more time, I could make Tik-Tok again, but we'll see. I'm just very sorry, and I'll make it up for y'all somehow.)

(You could make up for it by sending me twelve billion dollars.
XD No worries, it's perfectly fine. I was just wondering was this thread and the others with dropped characters in them was going to be shelved, or continue on with some new characters or something. I'm cool either way.)
