Gyro Gearloose was a genuis. Wastelander couldn't beleive his eyes, but Gyro had done it. He had created a game system that could allow The Dream Leauge to play any game known to man or ever will be known. Praise be to invention. One day, Wastelander was playing Animal Crosssing 3DS before it was to be released. Suddenly, the screen went black except for a giant red N. A demonic voice from the TV said "This world is property of The Game Master" "Hey guys," Wastelander said, "Do any of you guys know how to fix TV possesions?"

Though hardly a dedicated--or even an ideal model of the stereotypical gamer--Alice had a medium interest in video games, especially those from Nintendo. She rarely had the time to play games often, and she rarely completed a game's campaign/story mode fully, but she did enjoy playing video games whenever she could.
Fortunately, Gyro proved to be the ultimate pirate, and created an illegal gaming console that would make anyone who supported SOPA and PIPA set their hair on fire and jump out the goshdarned window. (For a gang of noble vigilantes, they sure liked to electronically steal.) Dreamchild was seated on the couch finishing up homework, when she heard a very strange, ominous voice coming from the TV. Oswald's subsequent comment was sarcastic and humorous, as usual.
Dreamchild looked up from her math textbook and eyed the TV. "The television is possessed?" she asked, more sincere than anything. The giant red N was mildly disconcerting. "Isn't this part of the game?" She closed her text book and set it aside without looking away from the TV screen.

"I really don't think there are demonic voices in Animal Crossing," Wastelander said, inspecting the TV. While doing this, he discovered something really odd. The screen of the TV jiggled like Jello when you touched it and that you could actually go through it.

Like Dreamchild, Delbert had his (rather ponderous) nose buried in a book. As opposed to the usual heavy reading in the field of astrophysics though, he had decided to go for something lighter this time around, Alexander Dumas' The Count Of Monte Cristo.
The new fellow, the Wastelander, was busy playing some video game on the game system that Gyro had recently invented. Delbert couldn't say that he was terribly familiar with the more recent video games that had come out in the past few years. He remembered his college days when his roommate had been given an Atari game system by his parents for Christmas, and they and the rest of their friends had been fascinated by it. Good times indeed.
When he heard the dark words, "This world is property of The Game Master", Delbert assumed that this was merely just another part of the game, and barely favored the television set with a glance before going back to his novel. "I must say, the effects they can create nowadays are fantastic!"
The preoccupied doctor failed to notice that the screen of their television set seemed to have suddenly went through some startling alterations.

Just then, a strange man that looked like a cross between The Shadow Blot from Epic Mickey and Myotismon from Digimon appeared on the screen. "I am The Game Master," he said in the same demonic voice that was heard earlier, "and I'm afraid I can't have any superheroes in the worlds I collect ruining my plans for universal conquest." He grabbed Wastelander and Dreamchild and dragged them into the TV.

Dreamchild honestly did think the ominous voice and effect were just part of the game. But when the Wastelander approached the TV set and touched the screen, it was yielding to the touch, and made small ripples like water. That was when Dreamchild knew that something was wrong; the Dream League's TV did not have a touch screen like a Nintendo DS, or even an iPad, for such a special effect. Besides, it didn't look like the Jell-o effect was in the screen; quite the opposite.
Dreamchild became very nervous. "Doctor," she said to Delbert without taking her wide eyes away from the screen, "I don't think--oh!" She panicked when a very demonic entity appeared on the screen. He referred to himself as the Game Master (and it sure as heaven did not look like Captain N!), and he announced his plans for universal conquest. Before she could protest, the Game Master reached out from the screen and grabbed both her and the Wastelander.
As she was pulled into the screen, she tried to reach for Delbert. She was too frightened to concentrate her telekinesis now. "Delbert!" she screamed. It was never a good sign whenever she referred to him by his first name and not by 'Doctor'; this was urgent. "Help me!" Those were her last words before she was pulled out of reality, and into the realm of whatever was in store.

A piercing shatter came from near Delbert. Sunshine had walked out of the kitchen and into the entertainment center of the mansion. She came into the room with a cup of tea, but she had just caught sight of Dreamchild and the Wastelander being dragged into the 'magic box' (or the 'idiot box,' depending on whom you asked)! In her shock, she dropped the cup, which shattered noisily.
But her fear was short lived. She narrowed her eyes at the TV, clenched her right hand into a fist, extended that same arm, and flew straight to the large TV. She would rush in and rescue her friends, no questions asked. "I'm coming!" were her last words before she, too, vanished into the TV, leaving water-like ripples on the screen behind her.
(Days later, she wondered how she knew that she could enter the TV, too. But she would have crashed through any number of televisions to rescue her friends.)

As Wastelander and Dreamchild were dragged down into the world in their TV, Wastelander noticed several landmark locations from the Nintendo games he had played. Finnaly, they approached The Game Masater's lair, which looked like Bower's Warped Orbit from Mario Party 8 if it was designed by Tim Burton.
Within the bizzare space station, Wastelander noticed that The Game Master had several Nintendo characters, both good and evil, in prison cells. A few moments later, he and Dreamchild were placed in their own seperate cells.

Panchito hadn't been in the room with the other Dreamers when all the commotion started. He didn't much care for television, unless it was a western. And even then, it was hard to concentrate through the talky parts.
But when he'd heard the girls cry out, the rooster knew something must be wrong. And then it was El Tirador to the rescue!
Dashing into the room just in time to see the dainty feet of Sunshine disappear into the TV, El Tirador followed without a moment's thought or hesitation, leaping at the screen and, amazingly enough, passing right through it to land with the others, albeit, a minute or so later.

The Game Master grinned evilly. "Now that I have taken the major heroes away from both this world and the world of reality," he said to himself, "Nothing can stop me from claiming The Triforce of Darkness and ruling the universe." He laughed evily and said, "Of course, I shall have to take down the rest of you."

Delbert may not have noticed that their television set had taken on the consistency of jello, but when Dreamchild spoke a second time, it attracted his attention. He looked up from his novel when the girl said his name in a worried tone. Dreamchild was not given to crying wolf -- when she was worried, there was good reason for it.
The book slipped from his nerveless grasp as he stared in shock at the sinister being whose demonic eyes glared at them from within the television. His mouth fell open, but no words came out. Yes, one could safely say that this was not part of the game. To his horror, the creature reached its long arms from out of the screen and actually plucked up both Dreamchild and the Wastelander.
"Oh no! Hold on, you two!" Springing up from his seated position, Delbert atempted to reach out and grab Dreamchild, but it was too late. Both she and the rabbit were gone.
As he fell to his knees, wondering how had such a peaceful day gone so horribly awry, he heard the sound of glass shattering, and whirled around to see Sunshine zooming towards the T.V. The Ray of Hope didn't hesitate for a moment in diving in after their kidnapped friends. El Tirador too quickly followed behind.
"Well, if they can do that, then here I go." The doctor thought determinedly, gathering himself and jumping through the screen himself. There was no time to loose!

Shaking his head and the memory The Green Bone rushed toward the screen seeing Star Pup sucked into the screen "I'm coming!" he yelled as he jumped into the screen getting sucked inside as well.

The Game Master looked outside to see the other heros landing in his lair. "Perfect timing," he said, maliciously, "time to send the welcome wagon." The Game Master pressed a button and summoned The Mind Bogglers from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door to fight the superhero intruders. "Having complete control over all forces of evil has it's advantages," The Game Master said. ((NOTE: Here is a picture of The Mind Bogglers for those who don't know.))

Passing through the television screen was a novel experience.
El Tirador landed with a splat on his tailfeathers, but bounced up instantly to his feet. "Holy Frijoles! Where is this place?"
The heroes had barely a moment to look around before a tall hombre in an ugly costume started his spiel about the forces of evil. "Hokay," answered the Mexican Marksman, drawing his weapons, "This is the bad guy, no?" The villains always tried to talk you to death before attacking.
Before Panchito could even take aim, a trio of...things entered the fray. "Una nube, una araña, y una flor," he said to himself.
Well, a flower wasn't very dangerous, so he would concentrate on the others, starting with the spider. A quick flick of the wrist put an ice shell into the chamber of his pistola.
"Do no move, tarántula." A more glib hero would've said 'Freeze.'

While all this was happening, The Wastelander used a vial of his Paint connoction to give him the ability to create a key that would unlock him and Dreamchild from their cells. "You join the others in teaching this guy a thing or two," he told Dreamchild, "I'll take care of freeing these innocent Nintendo characters."
((Now would be a good time to cue the Tourist Account played Nintendo characters.))

The Green Bone blinked as he looked up to see a strange character summoning what appeared to be a cloud, a plant, and a spider "Okay this is wierd" He said as he stood up, his ring igniting as he got ready to battle "Guess that leaves the cloud to me. Never thought I'd have to fight a cloud." The emerald dalmatian said to his fellow leaguers.

Peach was used to being captured by villainous bosses. Seemed like it happened every other day.
As such, she waited more or less patiently for some hero to free her, occasionally tossing insults at the Game Master, as he called himself. But mostly checking her nails or smoothing her hair. And waiting.
Of course, it was usually Mario who rescued her, and he was caged just as she was. So, who could the princess count on this time?
Suddenly, a crowd of unfamiliar characters dropped out of nowhere to challenge the GM. And what a weird-looking bunch they were! Not at all normal like the citizens of her kingdom.
Oh, well, royals can't be choosers, as the saying goes. "Oh, brave heroes, free us," she shouted encouragement in her impossibly-high voice.
Not that it would be that simple. There were bound to be...yep, here came the baddies to attack. Well, time to see what these new guys were made of.

El Tirador had the spider covered, but then he got something in his eye. It was a girl!
As the pink-clad beauty stepped out of the cage, Panchito forgot all about the battle, tossing an appreciative wolf-whistle her way. If only he'd been the one to free her, that would've given him a few brownie points.

The Pider shot web at El Tirador while he was distracted, tying him up with it as if it were a rope, The Dark Puff struck lightning at The Green Bone, and the Pale Piranha was just about ready to chomp Star Pup. "Never underestimate those who have fought in Glitzville," The Game Master said, sadisticly.

A long, sticky web shot through the air toward the Mexican hero. When it connected, it wrapped instantly around El Tirador's body all the way up to his chin, causing him to fall onto his tailfeathers and drop his weapons with a clatter.
Why, oh why, did he take his eyes off his target?
This was not the way to look good in front of the girls.

The Wastelander gave the Pider a strong kung fu kick, sending him flying into the horizin. Oswald went up to El Tirador and used his Paint concoction to conjour a pair of scissors that could cut through the web and set the Mexican Hero free. "You OK, El Tirador?" he asked.

She landed as she watched what Wastelander did "That gives me an idea" She formed a construct of hedge clippers from her ring "Now let's see if I can prune that oversized weed" she launched the construct toward the pale pirahna as it started to snip as it flew at it

"Gracias, mi amigo," replied the rooster, picking up his weapons again and favoring them with an affectionate smooch.
By now, however, all three of the bad guys were under attack by one or the other of El Tirador's teammates. What was there left for him to do?
"Maybe I will take on Senor Boss," he soliloquized, inadvertantly giving the Game Master an appropriate title.
A shot from his pistola, and a large net expanded and fell toward the mysterious stranger. But did he have any powers of his own? Or just minions to do his dirty work?

The Game Master was taken by surprise by the net that had now ensnared him, but he managed to regain composure. "You honestly think I don't any tricks of my own up my sleeve," he said, grinning an evil grin. He then encloaked himself in his cape and disappeared. "Mark my words," his voice echoed, hanging in the air above the Dream Leauge. "I will gain the ultimate power of The Triforce of Darkness. With it's power, all worlds will belong to The Game Master."

"Yak, yak, yak. Ai, these super-villains sure can talk you to death!"
El Tirador wasn't going to concern himself with threats. The bandito was gone, and all was right with the world, as far as he was concern.
Twirling his six-shooters on his fingers before depositing them in his holster, the Mexican hero moved on to more important things. Like the pretty pink princess.
"Los villanos are gone, my little churro," he said to her with a bow. And maybe she would reward him in some way...?

The Wastelander took a look at whom El Tiardor was hitting on and had a sudden realization. Could this be the world of Nintendo? If so, could El Tirador be hitting on the famed Princess Peach? "Uh, El Tirador," he said, "If this is the princess I think it is, she is currently taken."
